Prominent Middle Eastern Publication backs up our findings on Huma Abedin

Walid Shoebat and Ben Barrack

A very prominent, well-read Egyptian magazine that is highly circulated in the Middle East – Rose El-Youssef – is acknowledging that Huma Abedin, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s closest adviser, is indeed tied to the Muslim Brotherhood and likely an operative by linking her to a direct claim about six other individuals.

Check out this translation of the article, courtesy of IPT:

‘Not Huma Abidin alone.’ This very brief statement expresses what is going on inside the minds of many American politicians who are completely convinced of the Muslim Brotherhood’s penetration of the Obama administration, with many articles, briefings and research messages talking about personalities which some security agencies in the United States claim have a direct relationship with the Brotherhood and its international organization. Perhaps the most famous story the American media dealt with months ago was ‘Huma Abidin’ Clinton’s special adviser and her close friend, but what many people do not know is that there are 6 other personalities tied to the Brotherhood on the American political street… We survey in this investigation information which has not been published before about these six personalities in the entire Islamic world, but there remains a question we cannot answer yet, but we are on the way to it. Are these six personalities tantamount to a turning point for the Obama administration from a position hostile to Islamic groups and organizations in the world to the largest and most important supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood in the world as well?”

While IPT’s article focuses on the six individuals referred to in the opening paragraph of the article, Huma Abedin is clearly being identified by Rose El-Youssef as a seventh.

Understand how history repeats itself with today’s persecution of Christians in Islamic countries and compare to the plight of the Jews in Nazi Occupied Europe, click her for details.

When we first confirmed Huma Abedin’s familial connections to the Muslim Brotherhood during the Anthony Weiner sexting scandal back in 2011, western media was more interested in, well, Anthony Weiner’s sexting scandal. It was the perfect allegory for what’s wrong with western media in general.

Sex trumps screaming alarm bells.

One year later, the issue surfaced again when Rep. Michele Bachmann and four other congressmen identified Abedin by name in a letter to the State Department’s Deputy Inspector General. In subsequent research, we got closer to the bottom of Abedin’s likely agenda than anyone had previously. In four other letters, Bachmann, et. al. referred to Mohammed Magid, head of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and Rashad Hussain, the Obama administration’s envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC). These are two of the six Muslim Brotherhood-connected individuals identified by Rose El Youssef.

At the height of the Huma Abedin controversy in the summer of 2012, she attended an Iftar dinner at the White House, at which Barack Obama praised her; Abedin sat at a table with Magid:

In addition to Hussain being caught lying in 2010, when he attempted to say he didn’t express support for convicted terrorist fundraiser Sami al-Araian at a Muslim Students Association (MSA) event in 2004, but he also helped draft Barack Obama’s 2009 Cairo speech.

Via the New York Times:

Mr. Hussain began advising the president on issues related to Islam after joining the White House counsel’s office in January 2009. He helped draft Mr. Obama’s Cairo speech and accompanied him on the trip.

Our readers might remember that Ground Zero mosque imam Feisal Abdul Rauf boasted that Obama’s Cairo speech came, in large part, from Rauf’s writings.

Another individual identified by Rose El-Youssef as being a Muslim Brotherhood operative is none other than Salam al-Marayati, the founder and executive director of the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC). We have written extensively about al-Marayati. Most recently, he was on-hand at the MPAC annual convention at All Saints Episcopal Church. If he is a Muslim Brotherhood operative, why would he be engaged in outreach to a Christian church? The answer should be obvious and would be exactly what we have maintained – deceit.

In October of last year, al-Marayati was named as the State Department envoy to the human rights conference.

As IPT points out, the Rose El-Youssef magazine’s claims don’t come with much supporting evidence but this development is important for at least two reasons. First, this publication is considered to be largely reputable in the Middle East. Second, a significant swath of people in the Middle East now has been told by that trusted periodical that there are seven prominent individuals in the Obama administration who are Muslim Brotherhood operatives.
