Huma Abedin: Ground Zero mosque in Human form?

Our bodies are supposed to be temples, right? Huma Abedin is a devout Muslim. As such, isn’t her body a temple of worship for Islam? Let’s go back to another temple, the Ground Zero mosque in New York City.

The Ground Zero mosque was about conquest. Period. When Americans began to learn the history of Cordoba, Spain, the purveyors of the mosque – the Cordoba Initiative – changed its title from the Cordoba House to the Park 51 mosque. Shockingly, GZM apologists like Anushay Hossain blamed concerned Americans for the name change because they were simply hypersensitive.

The truth is that the name change was made because more stealth was needed; Americans were wising up. Some time earlier, Rauf had tipped his hand when he spoke to an Arabic audience:

During an interview that appeared on Arabic radio Hurytna, Rauf gave a romantic example of how Muslims should use dialogue with Christians and Jews to their advantage: “Deal with them as one courts a pretty girl he wants to date; stop thinking like a typical Muslim. Then you engage.” – The Case FOR Islamophobia, p. 167

Abedin and Rauf: Dueling Mosques

Whether it’s irony or a shared strategy, Huma Abedin’s biggest asset is the fact that power brokers in Washington, D.C. have been smitten with her. John McCain skewered Rep. Michele Bachmann from the Senate floor last year for having the audacity to raise some salient facts relative to Abedin’s affiliations. Could it be that Abedin reversed Rauf’s mandate? Since she is female, could it be that instead of treating Americans as pretty girls, she has been playing the part so effectively that she’s gained the same level of influence?

Perhaps not so coincidentally, Abedin and Rauf had a shared connection who revealed himself after in 2011 after the scandal sexting scandal involving then Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) came out:

“A noteworthy defender of Huma’s marriage to Anthony Weiner was Imam Omar Shareef Abu Namous, the Imam at the Mosque of the Islamic Cultural Center in New York. The infamous Ground Zero mosque imam Feisal Abdul Rauf is a permanent trustee of that mosque.” – The Case FOR Islamophobia, p. 101

Rauf is an imam who attempted to fly under the radar and build an idolatrous mosque to Islam where his religion’s fiercest proponents wanted a symbol of conquest. 2010’s backlash was clearly a stumbling block for him but he is not deterred. In an interview with Real Clear Religion, Rauf said he hoped to see the mosque built during his “lifetime”.

Could it be that Rauf is hoping that Huma Abedin becomes the first lady of New York City so that she can facilitate his dream… of a mosque two blocks away from where the Muslim Brotherhood’s al-Qaeda hit America the hardest?

Weinergate 2.0 has almost had the effect of Americans realizing why “Cordoba House” would be a bad name for a mosque at 9/11’s Ground Zero. The question is: Will voters realize who Huma is or will they simply reject her husband for his transgressions?

If New York City voters choose Weiner, they will be choosing Huma. If they choose Huma, they will be voting for a pretty girl they’d like to date.

The degree to which Rauf is unyielding when it comes to construction of the mosque should be considered a direct reflection of what Huma is willing to endure in order to become a Ground Zero mosque.
