Big Egypt Media: Brotherhood Snipers Killing their Own

Egypt’s security forces pledged to crack down on pro-Muslim Brotherhood / Mohammed Mursi demonstrators who were holding sit-ins. When news that dozens of demonstrators had been killed, western media sources operated from a premise that these demonstrators had to have been killed by security forces.

However, major Egyptian media sources are reporting that these pro-Muslim Brotherhood demonstrators are actually being killed by Muslim Brotherhood members. If these reports are correct, Egypt may be home to Pallywood on steroids. Is it possible that Muslim Brotherhood loyalists are killing their own in order to implicate the interim government?

Reports of the Brotherhood killing its own over the last several weeks is not new but may be coming to a crescendo with the number of deaths in Egypt today.

Read on.

Ahram reported that helicopters belonging to security forces buzzed the rooftops of residential towers in anticipation of Muslim Brotherhood snipers.

Elfagr reported that Egyptian security forces were working to clear at least seven Muslim Brotherhood snipers from the area around Rabia Al-Adawiya mosque.

The very reputable Dostor reported that eight Brotherhood snipers were arrested near the Rabia Al-Adawiya mosque, which is an important landmark. The snipers were shooting from rooftops of buildings close to the mosque. Yesterday, we wrote about explosive claims made by Egyptian talk show host Ahmed Moussa on July 30th. He called out U.S. Ambassador to Egypt Anne Patterson for not acknowledging that the “assassin” of Christopher Stevens – a man Moussa identified as Mohsen Al-Azazi – was “present at Rabia Al-Adawiya” mosque with Safwat Higazy and Mohammed El-Beltagy.

Mohammed El-Beltagy: Was this Muslim Brotherhood leader's daughter killed by Muslim Brotherhood?

Mohammed El-Beltagy: Was this Muslim Brotherhood leader’s daughter killed by Muslim Brotherhood?

The El-Beltagy name is also important here because the daughter of Mohammed El-Beltagy was one of those killed, which would seem to lend credence to Moussa’s claims that her father was present at the mosque (with Al-Azazi and Higazy).

Here is a report about the death of Beltagy’s daughter:

Here is video of her father’s reaction:

At Netzarim Junction in the Gaza Strip in 2000, the death of a young Palestinian boy named Muhammad al-Dura was staged in an attempt to blame it on the Israelis. If major Egyptian media reports are correct today, the Brotherhood has decided to kill its own via sniper fire in order to pin said deaths on Egyptian security forces.

That would constitute… Pallywood. On. Steroids.

Moussa also reported on the alleged attacks that the mosque’s sympathizers were planning to launch. Who could have predicted that such attacks might include Brotherhood sympathizers killing Brotherhood loyalists in order to bear false witness to those who didn’t commit the crimes. Staging a death to commit a blood libel is horrendous enough but actual murderers who seek to commit blood libel to push an evil agenda are exactly the type of barbarians the Ten Commandments were put into place to deal with.

Here is video that purports to show an pro-Muslim Brotherhood demonstrator getting shot by a sniper:

Check out this translated excerpt from an analysis of a video posted on July 28th which claims to reveal that the shootings of Mursi’s supporters actually came from the direction of… Mursi’s supporters. In this particular case, the victim in question was shot in the head:

“The scandal of the terrorist group that kills its supporters and trades their blood for advantage, reveals and clarifies the picture of firing live bullets at the protesters… The distance between the first October Bridge area stationing police and the victim is more than 500 meters. The sense of impossibility that this person could be hit in the head from such a distance at ground level while amongst such a large crowd should be obvious.”

Alamiya reports
that Brotherhood snipers have been in place for more than a month and cites sources who claim that these snipers have been firing “indiscriminately” toward security forces.

Confusion and tensions reign in Egypt today. When at war, both sides seek advantage. It is at least conceivable – especially in light of these reputable Arabic sources – that Brotherhood shooters decide that such an advantage can be had via friendly fire if Pallywood-style propaganda can be effective.

Contrast another excerpt from the aforementioned Alamiya report with a CNN report from Reza Sayah. During this report, Sayah questions a Brotherhood supporter on the street who says they were doing nothing short of “sitting and smiling”. Take note of the narrative this supporter is allowed to establish. It is that the Brotherhood is defenseless, having no weapons, while the security forces snipe them from above.

Note: we need help translating at the 1:42 mark. It is here where the Brotherhood supporter seems to say, “We will become Obamas. We will become Obamas.” If you listen more closely, he seems to say, “We will become Obambas. We will become Obambas.”

We can’t figure it out and do not know what an “Obamba” is.

Take note in this report from Reza Sayah – filed a bit later – how willing he is to operate from the premise that the security forces were responsible:
