The Most Anti-Climactic Sound

On today’s show…

Benghazi is rightfully back in the news cycle. On November 13th and 14th CIA employees who witnessed the attacks testified in front of the House Intelligence Committee, though in closed session.

Essentially, there are three main things that have garnered media interest relative to Benghazi. First, witness testimony allegedly revealed that contrary to the findings of the Accountability Review Board (ARB), there was no lull in the fighting at the CIA Annex. Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA), who sits on the committee, confirmed this was the testimony of witnesses. Chairman Mike Rogers (R-MI) shockingly seemed to side with the ARB, which contradicts Nunes. This should be considered a major development.

Second, thanks to the late Rep. Bill Young, who passed away this past summer, we have the account of David Ubben – a man who was injured at the Annex during the firefight that killed Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty. According to Young, the attackers knew much more about the compound than had been previously known.

Third, according to reports of the testimony given by CIA employees in closed session, they were indeed made to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) at a Memorial service ceremony for Woods and Doherty this past May. Nunes confirmed this. While Rogers also conceded that witnesses were made to sign these agreements, listen to find out how he sounded like an apologist for the Obama administration.

And… Did John McCain actually call Ted Cruz “crazy”?
