Muslims Sentence Christian Man To Death

SHOEBAT EXCLUSIVE
By Theodore Shoebat

Muslims in Pakistan have sentenced a Christian named Sawan Masih to death because of a false accusation of blasphemy law that was slanderously brought upon him.

Naeem Shakir, one of Masih’s lawyers, made this straightforward statement:

The judge has announced the death sentence for Sawan Masih. We will appeal the sentence in the Lahore high court.

Masih has still, with great fortitude, maintained and declared his innocence, and states that the real reason why he was accused of blasphemy was a dispute over property between him and a Muslim. The baseless accusation was made in 2013, and it resulted in a massive and very violent riot in which 3000 Muslims brought immense chaos and destruction to Christians in the Joseph Colony in Lahore, burning down 100 homes.

For those who have not heard of this horrid torrent of heretical violence that struck the Christians of Lahore, here is a video, revealing the misery that these poor saints are enduring through, with families losing their life-savings, a mother being deprived of her beloved daughter, and hard earned property being stolen by these barbarians:

Nameem Shakir, Masih’s lawyer, disclosed that the punishment prescribed by the judge upon Masih is hanging, and a fine:

Today (the judge)announced his verdict that says that Sawan must be hanged and fined

Masih is one out of 16 other people in Pakistan awaiting the death penalty for blasphemy. In a report released this month by the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, it states concerning this horrendous blasphemy law:

The severe penalties for Pakistan’s blasphemy law make it one of the most repressive laws in the world …Blasphemy charges commonly are used to intimidate members of religious minorities or others with whom the accusers disagree or have business or other conflicts.

Rescue Christians has managed to rescue over a thousand of these persecuted saints from Islamic tyranny in Pakistan. We will never stop committing ourselves to this holy cause, but without you our efforts are impossible. Please make a donation to help us continue rescuing Christians in Pakistan.

As Shoebat.com reported in February, Rescue Christians, for over six months, has strived laboriously to have Shafaqat Emmanuel, another Christian who has faced trial under blasphemy law, acquitted from the court of the heathens. But just recently we received the saddest news from our contact in Pakistan, that Shafaqat “will also be given the death sentence.”

It is parlous moments such as these that break the hearts of everyone working in Rescue Christians, and they pierce us so deeply that we cannot help but cry the lamentation of David,

O God, the heathen are come into thine inheritance; thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps. The dead bodies of thy servants have they given to be meat unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth. (Psalm 79:1-2)

The rule of the mob is what dictates the decision of the judges in Pakistan; for when Christians are acquitted, riots and the most violent uprisings are unleashed by the vicious passions of the heretical Muslims. The judges are then pressed by the threat of the ruthless people, and so acquiesce to the spirit of despotism as oppose to determining justice through reason and virtue. Tyranny is founded in the masses.

It is this very oppression that we in Rescue Christians are striving without end to combat, to save as many lives as we possibly can. The river of saintly blood will never stop until Kingdom Come, and the only alternative to the Christian who lives in the land of raving wolves, is to turn to the Holy Cross.

It is this beautiful and yet almost indescribable wood that infuses into our souls the spirit of militancy. It is of the nature of the Church to fight, for being as one body, no one can deny that it is innate within the body of every Christian to war against those who tread on the sacred and endlessly conspire to shed the blood of Heaven’s citizens. The Christian does not fight to cause war, but to perpetuate peace, for we worship “a warrior who ends war.” (Judith 16:3) In the wonderful words of Augustine:

We do not seek peace in order to wage war; rather, we wage war in order to achieve peace. (1)

In Syria numerous Christians have picked up their arms to fight off the Muslim horde; in the Philippines, in Iraq, in Central Africa and Nigeria, various Christians, both “strong and courageous” are determined to take part in the fray for their lives and churches, neither “afraid or terrified because of” the Muslims that approach them, knowing full well that “God goes with you” in such moments of holy war. (Deuteronomy 31:6)

But in Pakistan there is yet to be a militant movement. I dream and await of the day when the Christian in Pakistan, will pick up the Holy Cross and destroy and obliterate the any bastion of Islamic tyranny, and overthrow once and for all any fortress of pagan and savage contagions and doctrines. I await to see the moment when the Holy Cross, alongside the Eternal Law and the Timeless Gospel, and the Swords of St. Peter and St. Paul, will overthrow the bastions of Satan, shatter the idols of the barbarian, and uproot the “ornaments off their camels’ necks.” (Judges 8:21)

But until such a glorious day, we must put all our efforts into saving the persecuted. I ask you, those who have a soul filled with zeal and passion for the deliverance of the persecuted, to please donate to save Christian lives in Pakistan.
