Chris Christie’s Freudian Slip at Republican Jewish Coalition speech

At the same event where New Jersey Governor Chris Christie again defended his appointment of Sohail Mohammed to a Superior Court judgeship in that state, he also referred to part of Israel as “occupied territories”. The reference Freudian slip was made during his speech at the Republican Jewish Coaltion (RJC).

The term was apparently so oft-putting that Christie had to apologize to billionaire Sheldon Adelson, one of the Republican mega donors Christie was at the event in Las Vegas to court.

As Shoebat.com reported earlier, Christie’s defense of his Mohammed appointment during the event rung hollow, in part, because of Christie’s affiliations with other Muslim individuals and groups he neglected to mention. Imam Mohammed Qatanani, one of Sohail’s clients has been tied to Hamas.

As for Christie referring to portions of Israel as “occupied territories”, such a gaffe might be a bit more forgivable if not for his friendships with Muslims who have questionable backgrounds. As a member of Hamas, Qatanani would consider the whole of Israel “occupied territories” as that group wants to drive all the Jews into the sea.

Cristie’s friendship with Qatanani tends to lend support to the claim that the former’s gaffe at the RJC was Freudian in nature.
