Was David Petraeus ‘All In’ when it came to Arming Jihadists who Slaughter Christians?

PLEASE CONSIDER A ONE-TIME OR MONTHLY DONATION TO RESCUE CHRISTIANS

On Today’s show…

In early 2012, the biography of David Petraeus entitled ‘All In: the Education of General David Petraeus’ was released. Less than one year later, it was revealed he’d had an affair with the author and was forced to resign. Also happening in early 2012 was the formation of an operation Petraeus would run. That operation included shipping weapons from Libya to Syrian jihadists through Turkey.

That’s according to Seymour Hersh, the journalist who broke the My Lai massacre story and the Abu Ghraib prison scandal. Hersh writes:

The operation was run by David Petraeus, the CIA director who would soon resign when it became known he was having an affair with his biographer. (A spokesperson for Petraeus denied the operation ever took place.)

If Petraeus was leading such an operation, it’d mean he has the blood of four Americans and an unattainable number of Syrian Christians on his hands. Taken further, a denial by his spokesperson should be expected. Conversely, it’s highly unlikely that a man with the track record of Hersh would be so irresponsible that he’d make such a charge without having adequate backup. As Shoebat.com has reported, the claim that weapons were being shipped from Libya to Syria via Turkey is corroborated by another very credible journalist – Catherine Herridge.

Sad, sad irony if Hersh is right.

Sad, sad irony if Hersh is right.

More disturbing claims include the nexus of the chemical weapons attack in Syria and the alleged weapons trafficking out of Benghazi. The narrative coming out of not just the Obama administration but Republican Congressman and House Intelligence Committee chairman Mike Rogers, relative to pinning the blame for the attack on Bashar al-Assad, is all but debunked by Hersh’s sources. Yet, Rogers pushed that faulty narrative for months and doesn’t appear interested in a select committee to get to the bottom of what happened in Benghazi.

In 2007, a far left-wing organization published a very controversial ad in the New York Times that said, “General Petraeus or General Betray Us?”

If Hersh’s sources are correct, we just found some more, very sad, irony.
