House Intel Chairman Expresses Concern over al-Qaeda in Syria; Fails to mention Turkey’s Role

During a radio interview, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers was asked about the recent chemical attack in Syria. The interviewer seemed convinced the attack came from Bashar al-Assad, despite plenty of evidence to the contrary, much of it chronicled by Shoebat.com. As part of his response, Rogers rightfully brought up the “huge and growing problem” of al-Qaeda and other terrorists flooding into Syria.

However, take note that Rogers pointed exclusively to western Iraq as the source of the terrorists instead of perhaps the primary source – Turkey. The Obama administration and even Republican congressmen like Rogers continue to refuse to be forthcoming to the American people about Turkey’s role in what’s happening inside Syria. As Shoebat.com has reported in the past, the most likely reason for this is Turkey’s status as a NATO member country.

In exchange for that NATO protection status, Turkey is being permitted to have a hand in slaughtering Christians in exchange for America’s silence.

Anyway, here’s Mr. Rogers (h/t WFB):
