Christie’s Islam Problem getting Bigger

By Ben Barrack

The imam of a New Jersey mosque that Governor Chris Christie continues to express support for, has added to his terrorist rap sheet by welcoming a virulent anti-Semite – who sees the solution to the Jews as Hitler did – into his mosque, to raise funds for Syrian terrorists. By not denouncing Mohammed Qatanani, who leads the Islamic Center of Passaic County in New Jersey, Christie further implicates himself as an aider and abettor of America’s very racist enemies.

The hypocritical irony is that it’s Christie who plays the race card against anyone who points out such things.

Earlier this year, Rateb Al-Nabulsi went on a tour inside the U.S. to raise money for Syrian terrorists and was permitted to do so because he was issued a U.S. visa. One of these tour stops was the mosque of Christie friend, Qatanani.

Earlier this week, Shoebat.com reported on the ‘entrusted’ friendship between former Dar al-Hijrah mosque chairman Bassam Estwani and Rateb Al-Nabulsi, who in a fatwa, once stated that “All the Jewish people are combatants” while making the case for suicide bombings.

Dar al-Hijrah in Falls Church, Virginia has been a hotbed of terrorist activity for years. Nabulsi’s ‘entrusted’ friend Estwani has been a very big fish in the Muslim Brotherhood’s stealth jihad against the U.S. for years, as Shoebat.com has chronicled.

In July of 2012, as Shoebat.com reported, Christie held an iftar dinner at the Governor’s mansion and Qatanani was in attendance. Christie publicly expressed support for Qatanani while playing the race card against those who had a problem with his close relationships with such individuals.

Though the video has been pulled from YouTube, you can hear the five-part audio recordings of the speech here. In Clip #3, Christie welcomes Qatanani:

Just weeks after Christie defended what he perceived to be upstanding, Constitution-loving Muslims like Qatanani against racist conservatives, Qatanani expressed a desire to undermine the Constitution with blasphemy laws that would criminalize criticism of Islam.

Interestingly, this is precisely why the Muslim Brotherhood pointed to the video after the Benghazi attacks; it wanted to pass blasphemy laws.

In 2011, Christie nominated Qatanani’s colleague and attorney Sohail Mohammed for Superior Court judge in Passaic County. Sohail has since been confirmed and Christie continues to insist that those who have a problem with it are bigots.
