Lois Lerner Caught Granting Muslim Brotherhood front groups Tax Exempt status as far back as BUSH ADMINISTRATION

**SHOEBAT EXCLUSIVE**

One of the reasons Republicans like Rep. Mike Kelly from Pennsylvania won’t come forward with the truth about Malik Obama’s tax exempt status and Lois Lerner’s role in it likely has to do with what she was permitted to do when a Republican president was in office. Calling attention to Lerner’s signature being at the bottom of the Barack H. Obama Foundation’s (BHOF) approval letter is certain to cause the Republican Party headaches over its complicity in taking the country to where it is today.

Lois Lerner has been caught granting 501(c)(3) tax exempt status to yet another group that should have been subjected to far more scrutiny than tea party and conservative groups. Our regular readers know about her granting such status to Malik Obama’s foundation in 2011 and why that constitutes a major problem but in 2005 – during the Bush administration – the Hamzah Islamic Center (HIC) was granted such status as well.

As was the case with Malik Obama’s 501(c)(3) approval letter, the name Renee Railey Norton also appears on HIC’s approval letter:

Here is a screenshot of Malik Obama’s 501(c)(3) approval letter:

Last year, two of HIC’s board members – Tareef Saeb (chairman) and Emad Hamid – were contributors to a paper entitled, “How to Start a Masjid” (mosque). Included in the paper are instructions on how to get 501(c)(3) status.

At one point, the authors recommend reaching out to other Masjids to gather information. The example given for who Hamzah’s leadership reached out to is the Muslim Community Association (MCA) in San Francisco, also a 501(c)(3) organization.

MCA’s connections to Muslim Brotherhood front groups in the U.S. are easy to determine. On its homepage, it makes clear that if follows the lead of the Fiqh Council of North America (FCNA) – another group with 501(c)(3) status – on things like when to celebrate Islamic holidays:

MCA follows FCNA lead on Muslim holiday schedules.

When the Hamzah paper turns to the “Role of the Imam” in Chapter Fifteen, its authors cite the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS) Center as being a model to follow. ADAMS is currently run by Mohamed Magid, the President of the largest Muslim Brotherhood group in the U.S. – ISNA.

Lest there be any doubt that HIC does not align fully with ISNA and MCA, consider this excerpt from the aforementioned chapter:

The Masjid must establish its religious philosophy and select the people that best fit that philosophy to lead its community.

Does this not demonstrate that reaching out to MCA and the ADAMS Center is done because those mosques best fit HIC’s philosophy?

As for Saeb’s relationship with the ISNA President, Saeb writes:

I went to Hajj for the first time back in 2002 and Imam Mohammed Magid of ADAMS Center was the Imam in charge of the group. I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and his personality. It is rare that you see such a great combination in a single man.

Both ISNA and FCNA constituted two of 29 Islamic groups discovered in a 1991 document introduced as evidence in the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) trial. Those 29 groups seek the destruction of the United States from within. Again, ISNA and FCNA both remain tax exempt at a time when the IRS has been targeting conservative and tea party groups.

And Republicans like Kelly remained silent on this matter when he had five minutes to question IRS Commissioner John Koskinen on June 20th.

At the end of the HIC papers is Appendex (sic) Two – Case Studies: Successful Masajid Interviews. Three Masjid’s were featured.

1.) MCA
2.) Roswell Community Masjid (RCM)
3.) ADAMS Center

MCA and ADAMS
Saeb explained that of four mosques he contacted, MCA was the only one that called him back. In particular, President Fouad Khatib is the man Saeb recalled dealing with and was extremely effusive in his praise of Khatib.

As for how the MCA came into existence, Saeb wrote:

MCA was founded over 25 years ago in the bay area around San Francisco by purchasing a church building. This helped start MCA without having to face zoning or non-Muslim community opposition.

Over time MCA acquired a number of business buildings and lands and now they sit on top of a combined 81,000 SQ FT of physical structure.

For those keeping score, that means a Muslim Brotherhood front group with tax exempt status, took over a church.

As noteworthy is the fact that Khatib was once President of CAIR-California and also one of its National Board members. In 2006, Khatib attended the CAIR 10th Anniversary Banquet and Siraj Wahhaj delivered the keynote speech. Like HIC, MCA, and ISNA, CAIR is also tax exempt:

Wahhaj was an unindicted co-conspirator in the first WTC attack in 1993 and hosted Omar Abdel Rahman (the “Blind Sheikh”), the mastermind of that attack at his mosque several times. Wahhaj also has a connection through various organizations to Sudan’s Hasan al-Turabi, who is connected to both WTC attacks through his relationships with the Blind Sheikh and Osama bin Laden, as Shoebat.com has reported.

Wahhaj is also connected to both the ADAMS Center and the Dar al-Hijrah mosque, once chaired by perhaps the most influential and effective stealth jihadist – Bassam Estwani. Dar al-Hijrah is a notorious mosque that was visited by three 9/11 hijackers and Fort Hood jihadist Nidal Malik Hasan. Hasan’s mentor Anwar al-Awlaki served as an imam there. The relationship between ADAMS and Dar al-Hijrah is also quite cozy. In a letter to Dar al-Hijrah, ADAMS Center President Rizwan Jaka congratulated the mosque on its 25th anniversary.

Dar al-Hijrah is also tax exempt and holds a 501(c)(3) status. As Shoebat.com has reported, Estwani sits on the board of at least two other 501(c)(3) organizations that have extremely questionable ties to terrorism – the Syrian Emergency Task Force (SETF) and Mercy Without Borders (MWB).

RCM
The other mosque cited by Saeb in his paper is the Roswell Community Masjid (RCM), located in Georgia. The RCM Director is Ehab Jaleel, who is registered with the Islamic Speakers Bureau (ISB) of Atlanta, which also holds a tax exempt 501(c)(3) status.

A quick search of ISB Atlanta shows that this organization has embraced leaders and representatives of Muslim Brotherhood front groups in the U.S. In 2007, it welcomed then President of the ISNA – Ingrid Mattson – as its keynote speaker. In 2008, Jaleel himself was awarded Speaker of the Year and Dalia Mogahed was prominently featured. Mogahed is very closely connected to Professor John Esposito of Georgetown University, who has expressed longtime sympathies with the Muslim Brotherhood.

As Coptic Christians in Egypt were suffering great persecution at the hands of Muslim Brotherhood actors after the overthrow of Mohammed Mursi, Mogahed came to the defense of the Brotherhood, not the Copts, as reported by Shoebat.com.

Also in 2008, the ISB was invited to the State Department. Leaders of ISNA, MPAC, and other Muslim Brotherhood front groups were in attendance. Then Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice delivered a speech, during which she said:

“More than one billion people find comfort and hope in Islam, and Ramadan inspires them to renew their faith through sacrifice and prayer, reflection and charity. People of all faiths can appreciate Ramadan’s spirit, one of love for family, devotion to community, and gratitude toward God.”

Again, those who may be wondering why Republicans are not pursuing Lois Lerner’s hijinks relative to Malik Obama have yet another example to illustrate why.

Hamzah Islamic Center takes in Syrian Refugees
In a series of YouTube videos posted earlier this year by someone apparently associated with the Hamzah Islamic Center, the mosque appears to be in the business of helping Syrian refugees and has a center in Turkey. Based on the connections outlined above, it’s certainly likely that many of these “refugees” are terrorists and jihadists. The photo of the Masjid in the YouTube avatar photos is exactly the same photo of mosque taken from the group’s website, as evidenced by the people in front of the mosque:

In this video, it’s practically an admission that HIC is helping Syrian terrorists. At the :08 mark, a translation into English is as follows:

“The project is going well and we thank you so much… We have collected much for the men, especially for the revolutionary (fighting) young men.”

This would suggest that HIC’s tax exempt status is helping it to aid terrorists overseas:

The next video was shot in Orpha city in Turkey. As Shoebat.com has reported, Orpha is home to ISIS training camps. At the 1:54 mark, reference is made to “activists in the Syrian Revolution”.

In this video, children are seen being brainwashed in a scene eerily similar to North Koreans after the death of Kim Jong Il:

This video – in English – is about fundraising, replete with an unsuspecting dhimmi in a green shirt:
