Turkey’s LYING President wants U.S. Vice President to Apologize for Telling the Truth

It’s not very often that U.S. Vice President Joe Biden gets something right but he did during a speech at Harvard University this week. While explaining how ISIS grew out of Al-Nusra and al-Qaeda in Iraq after finding open space in eastern Syria, Biden did something few American politicians do; he dropped Turkey in the grease.

According to Biden, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey were sending money and heavy weaponry into Syria without regard for who received it. Shockingly, Biden also admitted that there is no such thing as ‘moderate’ opposition forces in Syria.

Predictably, the lying President of Turkey – Recep Tayyip Erdogan – didn’t like this at all:

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed frustration Saturday with Vice President Biden’s remarks that Turkey had made mistakes by allowing foreign fighters to cross into Syria.

“If Mr Biden used such language, that would make him a man of the past for me…If he did say this at Harvard then he has to apologize to us,” Erdogan said at a press conference in Istanbul.

“Foreign fighters have never entered Syria from our country. They may come to our country as tourists and cross into Syria, but no one can say that they cross in with their arms,” Erdogan continued, saying the country had prevented 6,000 suspected jihadist members from entering the country and deported another 1,000.

Here is the portion of Biden’s speech that has Erdogan so upset (starts after short clip from Biden’s VP debate with Paul Ryan in 2012):

As Shoebat.com has reported on at great length, Turkey has been very involved in helping to arm Syrian opposition forces.

Not only is Turkey providing arms to Syrian rebels but they have implemented Nazi tactics to facilitate war. Evidence that the chemical attack in Syria last year was an event perpetrated by the rebels with the help of Turkey is overwhelming, as Shoebat.com has reported. Then there is the tomb of revered Turk Suleyman Shah near the border in Syria. ISIS fighters attacked it with the backing of Turkey to justify an incursion.

As to Erdogan’s claims that no one is permitted to cross into Syria with weapons, well, that’s a lie too. A Dutch journalist witnessed it with his own eyes last year. A separate video showed Turkish border guards allowing weapons to cross into Syria right before their eyes:

Biden never apologizes when he lies. It will be interesting to see if he does it after telling the truth.
