Obama Administration Welcomes Major Islamic Jihadist Leader, Who Says ISIS Is Not A Terrorist Group, Into The State Department

By Walid Shoebat and Ben Barrack
**SHOEBAT EXCLUSIVE**

In an extremely brazen act, the U.S. State Department opened its arms to a Muslim Brotherhood delegation from Egypt, led by a MAJOR Muslim Brotherhood activist judge named Waleed Sharaby. The plans for the trip began last August in Turkey, where the Revolutionary Council of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood was formed. The founder was a man named Amr Darraj. The president of this council is Maha Azzam, a woman and Sharaby is the Executive Secretary.

As Shoebat.com reported at the time, this coincided with Muslim Brotherhood spiritual leader Yusuf al-Qaradawi’s trip to Turkey. Sharaby is also quite cozy with al-Qaradawi, which is evident in the photo below. Al-Qaradawi has been banned from entering the U.S. since 1999:

According to reliable Arabic sources, Sharaby fled Egypt in August of 2014 as he was conspiring with the Revolutionary Council after he had been removed from his position by Egyptian President Gen. Abdel Fatah el-Sisi. Sharaby then fled to Turkey, where he is believed to be living today. As he was attempting to flee Egypt, Sharaby also attempted to bribe an Egyptian security officer with $2000.

The purpose of the Revolutionary Council is to successfully oust el-Sisi. Erdogan seeks to collaborate with this Council so that he can one day be the Sultan of the newly formed Ottoman Empire. After Erdogan’s successful election last August, he welcomed all the leaders of the Revolutionary Council:

Wanted for high treason, Sharaby represents the so-called “Egyptian Revolutionary Council”, an alliance that was launched in Istanbul, Turkey on August 8, 2014. Its aim is to achieve the goals of the January 25 revolution and is led by President Maha Azzam, who lives in Great Britain. Azzam led a delegation similar to the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently to warn them of the consequences of cooperation with the current powers in Egypt working with Walid Sharaby who is also member of the Council.

Just two months before his visit to the U.S., Sharabi denounced the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on social media, for identifying dozens of groups as terrorist organizations. Sharaby said (translated):

“I do not know why the Emirates are naming 83 Organizations as terrorist organizations? How could anyone who says “There is not God but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah be a terrorist?”

Clearly, Sharaby is saying in that one statement that NONE of the 83 groups are terrorist organizations. Two of the 83 groups were in the U.S. – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and Muslim American Society (MAS). Boko Haram in Nigeria, al-Qaeda, Hamas, the Taliban, ISIS, and every head-severing terrorist organization is really NOT a terrorist organization, according to Sharaby.

There you go, according to Sharaby, al-Qaeda and ISIS are NOT terrorist groups. Nonetheless, he was embraced by the U.S. State Department. About his visit to the U.S., Sharaby tweeted the following:

“I trust in Allah for our victory. I was ordered by Allah to do this.

Today, Sharaby is wanted for high treason in Egypt. Based on charges like these, it’s not surprising that his followers and supporters post depictions like this of el-Sisi:

Sharaby even propagandizes NYC protests, posting a YouTube video to his twitter account in which he’s leading Muslim Brotherhood protesters marching in that city. Sharaby comments how protesters in New York are protected by the police, not murdered:

Back in Egypt, Sharaby was quite familiar with protesting as well. Here, he rides on the shoulders of those carrying the black flag of Islam:

Since the overthrow of Mursi in Egypt, the Rabi’a Al-‘Adawiyya mosque became ground zero for the Muslim Brotherhood protesters. The term refers to a woman from Basra who first formulated the Sufi ideal of a love of Allah is such an icon that the mosque in Al-Nahda Square in Cairo was named after her. That mosque is the origin of the four-fingered hand signal. Since Rabi’a means “Fourth” it became “Rabi’a four finger sign,” which has gained widespread popularity. Users from all over the world showed interest from Asia to Europe and from Africa to the USA symbolizing the Islamic Revolution worldwide.

It’s also displayed prominently by Sharaby on his Facebook page as he and his friends proudly demonstrate (Sharaby can be seen on the far left of this photo):

A translation of what can be seen on that Facebook page reads:

“They arrest you, they kill you, they beat you, they burn you, they falsely accuse you. They prevent you access to Muslim scholars and they imprison your freedom. They know that there is a world conspiracy against you. They arrest your leader whom you have elected… And if you come out of your closet in anger, they call you extremist. But why should I not be extremist towards my religion and Islam? Is this an accusation deserving that I flee? The hell with you, you prostitutes.”

Sharaby’s visit to the U.S. State Department prompted protests in Egypt, in support of the Brotherhood. The protesters are calling for open Jihad to overthrow the sitting government there, led by Gen. Abdel Fatah el-Sisi. The primary short-term objective of the terrorists the delegation represent is just that; Adam Kredo reported the group referred to itself as the ‘anti-coup’ delegation. In an even more brazen act, one of the members of that delegation – Waleed Sharaby – flashed the four-fingered Muslim Brotherhood salute, which was born in the days after Mohammed Mursi was overthrown in 2013.

It’s clear that the State Department wanted to meet with the Brotherhood leaders with as little attention being paid to the visit as possible. Evidence of this is that the names of State Department officials with whom the delegation met are not known. Sharaby’s decision to flash the Brotherhood sign and post it on his Facebook page certainly didn’t help.

One of the things that should be made clear is that the bigger picture involves Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Any Muslim Brotherhood delegation that visits the Obama administration in Washington, DC is whole-heartedly supported by Erdogan. As Shoebat.com has reported, ever since the overthrow of Mursi, Brotherhood leaders from that country have found safe harbor in Erdogan’s Turkey. In fact, most recently, Turkey opened its arms to leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Gaza branch – Hamas. As Shoebat.com reported, this included the group’s head cheese, Khaled Meshaal.

One of the members of the delegation that visited the State Department with Sharaby this week was also part of a Brotherhood delegation that met with Obama administration officials in April of 2012; his name is Abdul Mawgoud Dardery. At the time, the White House attempted to say the delegation met with “low-level officials” but was called on it and had to admit that the meeting was actually with “mid level officials” when pressed.

The 2012 delegation included Dardery, a Muslim Brotherhood member who had recently been elected to Parliament. Joining Dardery then was Sondos Asem, a senior editor with Ikhwanweb, the Muslim Brotherhood’s official publication; Hussein El-Kazzaz, a Brotherhood economic adviser, and Khaled Al-Qazzaz. All four members participated in a panel discussion at Georgetown University during their visit to the U.S. The discussion was moderated by John Esposito, a renowned Muslim Brotherhood apologist.

The group’s visit to the U.S. perhaps not so coincidentally coincided with the announcement that Muslim Brotherhood leader Khairat el-Shater would be running for President of Egypt (he would eventually be replaced by Mohammed Mursi because el-Shater had been convicted and served prison time too recently). Sondos – whose mother (Manal Abu Hassan) is a leader with the Muslim Sisterhood along with Saleha Abedin, the mother of close Hillary Clinton adviser Huma Abedin – reacted to the news that el-Shater would be running:

As Asem settled into her hotel room in New York and prepared to meet with a prominent news organization’s editorial board, she got word that her boss had decided to run for the presidency of Egypt.

“Wow! I can’t believe it,” she exclaimed.

As for representatives from the Obama administration the delegation met with, they included two mid-level members – Samantha Power and Steve Simon. At the time, Power – wife of former Obama Czar Cass Sunstein – was Senior Director for Multilateral Affairs at the National Security Council. Simon was the National Security Council Senior Director for the Middle East and North Africa.

In 2013, Power would replace Susan Rice as Ambassador to the United Nations.

In the White House press briefing at the time, Press Secretary Jay Carney attempted to dismiss Power and Simon being in the meeting by pointing to the fact that Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham had met with members of the Muslim Brotherhood. Interestingly, it was McCain, Graham, and Deputy Secretary of State Bill Burns who appeared to be in damage control mode during their visit to Egypt shortly after Mursi was removed from power more than a year later.

Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood expert Abdel Reheem Ali would later charge that Barack Obama’s brother Malik Obama brokered a meeting between President Barack Obama and Khairat el-Shater and that during that meeting, el-Shater pledged to get out the Muslim vote in America to support Obama’s election for President:

It was he (Malik) who brought in Khairat Al-Shater, Ayman Ali and Youssef Nada to meet with Obama during the election and promised to support Muslims in America.

While there is no evidence that Barack Obama and el-Shater met, the delegation did include el-Shater’s subordinate and Muslim Sisterhood daughter Sondos during Obama’s re-election campaign, six months prior to Obama winning his second term. That delegation’s visit to the U.S. was about building an alliance with the Obama administration.

If el-Shater collaborated with the Obama campaign through emissaries like Dardery and Asem to help Obama get re-elected, el-Shater would be considered an extremely important and dangerous figure to the administration; potentially, even more so than Mursi. This comports with charges allegedly levied by Saad al-Shater, via reports of an interview he granted to Anatolia Press:

Saad also said that his father’s safety is more important to the Americans than is the safety of Mohammed Mursi.

Not long after Saad made those charges, he was arrested in Egypt.

Innocence of Muslims
As Shoebat.com has reported on extensively, the origins and immediate aftermath of the Innocence of Muslims video that was blamed for the Benghazi attacks, involved two countries – Egypt and Turkey. Soon after the Benghazi attacks, it was Shoebat.com that reported on how the video was exploited by Middle Eastern agitators to cause an attack on the U.S. Embassy in Cairo. That attack would be the first of dozens, as mobs descended on various U.S. diplomatic installations all over the world.

The stated reason for all the mob violence was that the video criticized Islam. This is where Turkey comes in. On July 15, 2011, then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton co-chaired a meeting with then Foreign Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu and then Secretary General of the OIC, Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu, as Shoebat.com reported. The purpose of this meeting was to begin what is known as the “Istanbul Process”, which was designed to push the same agenda that would be pushed by the Egyptian agitators over the Innocence of Muslims more than a year later – criminalizing speech critical of Islam.

Literally, as the 2012 delegation was meeting with these officials beginning on April 4th of that year, the YouTube channel of the man credited with producing Innocence of Muslims (Sam Bacile) was created on April 4th as well:

Nakoula did not use "Innocence of Muslims" and joined YouTube on April 4, 2012.

Nakoula did not use “Innocence of Muslims” and joined YouTube on April 4, 2012.

Bacile (aka Nakoula Basseley Nakoula) became an informant / FBI operative in 2010 and presumably so remained until he was arrested for violating parole shortly after the Benghazi attacks.

As Shoebat.com has maintained, a strong case can be made that the video blamed for the Benghazi attacks fits almost perfectly into the agenda of the “Istanbul Process”. Hillary Clinton co-chaired the first of these meetings, which took place on July 15, 2011. One day earlier, casting for the video officially began.

Little more than two months after the Brotherhood delegation met with Power and Simon, another delegation traveled to Washington, DC. This time, that delegation included the member of an officially designated Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO). As a member of an FTO, Hani Nour Eldin never should have been granted a visa, let alone meetings with senior Obama administration officials.

On the week of June 18, 2012, a Eldin, a member of Gamaa Islamiya, traveled to Washington as part of a delegation and met with senior Obama administration officials. One of those officials was then Deputy National Security Advisor Denis McDonough, who was later promoted to Obama’s Chief of Staff.

Incidentally, sandwiched in between the first Brotherhood delegation and Eldin’s visit with McDonough, was the attendance of McDonough at the U.S.-Islamic World Forum (US-IWF) in Doha, Qatar in late May. While there, McDonough was surrounded by leaders of Muslim Brotherhood front groups, to include Barack Obama’s envoy to the same OIC that is pushing the “Istanbul Process”, Rashad Hussain. McDonough also warmly greeted the Abdallah bin Bayyah, the deputy to Muslim Brotherhood spiritual leader Yusuf al-Qaradawi, as Shoebat.com revealed.

The Obama administration knew that Eldin was a terrorist member of Gamaa Islamiya. Yet, according to Eli Lake at the Daily Beast, a State Department spokesman said:

“We have no information suggesting that he or anyone else in the delegation is a member of the Egyptian Islamic Group (Gamaa Islamiya).”

While this is false, something else occurred on June 18th that year that carries great significance.

The Istanbul Process’s plans, effects and implementation were all set in motion when the YouTube channel of NewsPoliticsNow3 (NPN3) was created. Less than three months later on September 11th, NPN3 would upload a 1:32 excerpt of the video the Obama administration would blame for the Benghazi attacks. As Shoebat.com has reported, it was NPN3 (not Sam Bacile aka Nakoula Basseley Nakoula) that would use the name “Innocence of Muslims” to identify the video:

NPN3 YouTube Channel on 9/12/12. First to name video "Innocence of Muslims"

NPN3 YouTube Channel on 9/12/12. First to name video “Innocence of Muslims”

As Shoebat.com has reported, NPN3 has been connected – through its avatar – to a company named Stanley Associates, which was purchased by CGI in 2010. CGI is the company that built the Obamacare website.

Just as the week of Eldin’s visit to Washington coincided with the creation of the NPN3 YouTube channel, so too did the date Bacile’s YouTube channel was created coincide with two interesting visits, an Egyptian delegation to the U.S. and a Hillary Clinton visit to Istanbul, Turkey.

In 2012, Muslim Brotherhood visits to the White House were done under the guise that the terrorist organization was having to be dealt with as a legitimate government. Today, it is visiting the White House in an effort to get the Obama administration to help it take over Egypt.
