NEWLY RELEASED Documents Reveal Group Declaring Libya ‘Islamic State’ (ISIS) Attacked Americans in Benghazi

Yet again, we have more evidence that until the west stops playing the word games that Islamic terrorists want them to play, the enemy will continue to remain unidentified. The latest example comes in the form of documents released in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch.

The documents sought were related to the military’s response to the September 11th Benghazi attacks. One slide in particular identifies the attackers of both the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on May 22, 2012 and then the Benghazi Special Mission Compound (SMC) on June 6, 2012 as having declared Libya an “Islamic State”.

Despite the 100’s of pages being heavily redacted, viewing this slide in which a group declaring Libya an “Islamic State” as justification for launching the ICRC and SMC attacks helps explain just who the U.S. was dealing with:

Ansar al-Sharia Protester in Benghazi on 9/14/12 (ISIS flag behind).

Ansar al-Sharia Protester in Benghazi on 9/14/12 (ISIS flag behind).

In fact, earlier this month, it was revealed that the group largely recognized as having been involved in the attacks on 9/11/12 – Ansar al-Sharia – formally aligned with ISIS in Libya, as Shoebat.com reported:
