Ex-CIA Director Petraeus Pleads GUILTY In What Carries Stench of Blackmail by Obama Administration

Several Obama White House scandals stink to high heaven, to include Benghazi. Whatever former CIA Director David Petraeus knows about it, he seems to know too much. Why hasn’t his voice been heard when it comes to this scandal? A factor that can’t be avoided is that the Obama administration has been very interested in Petraeus ever since the attacks that claimed the lives of four Americans.

Hours after it was revealed that the House Select Committee on Benghazi made an explosive discovery about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a personal email address for official business, Petraeus pleaded guilty in federal court. While likely coincidental, the timing is noteworthy.

According to Reuters, the troubles for Petraeus are continuing:

Former CIA director and U.S. Army General David Petraeus has pleaded guilty in federal court to a charge of unauthorized removal and retention of classified information, the U.S. Justice Department said on Tuesday.

Documents disclosing Petraeus’s guilty plea, which reportedly stemmed from his personal relationship with biographer Paula Broadwell, were filed in federal court in Charlotte, North Carolina. An attorney for Petraeus, Robert Barnett, said he had no immediate comment.

As Shoebat.com reported, within four days of the Select Benghazi committee being re-authorized earlier this year, the Justice Department’s intentions to charge Petraeus were reported.

Last month, Committee chairman Trey Gowdy released the names of 20 current or former members of the Obama administration that his committee would begin interviewing in April, as Shoebat.com reported. One of the names on that list is Petraeus.

There is no specific evidence to suggest that Petraeus being aggressively targeted by Obama’s Justice Department has anything to do with what’s going on with the Benghazi investigation but it’s difficult to escape the stench.

Moreover, there IS evidence to suggest that the Obama administration had information on Petraeus during the latter’s tenure as CIA Director and then lowered the boom very soon after Obama’s 2012 re-election:

Based on that reality, it is certainly worth ruling out the possibility that the treatment Petraeus is receiving from the administration has anything to do with concerns about his potential testimony. In much the same way that the Obama administration hung its knowledge of his affair over his head.

Then again, if Petraeus is successfully blackmailed, we may never know.
