Whoever Hates The Cross Of Christ, Hates Justice

By Theodore Shoebat

Christ is the greatest enemy against tyranny, because He was most hated by tyranny. But in the end He took the victory, and destroyed the works of the devil. All demonic ideologies bring tyranny, they are all the works of the devil and they hate justice, and yet they all are subdued by the Cross of Christ. This is why, all those who hate the Cross of Christ, hate justice. This is why Muslims hate the Cross of Christ.

A Muslim mob in the Malaysian city of Petaling Jaya forced Christians to remove the Cross from their church. This move of mob violence is only a proof of the growing intensity of anti-Christian sentiments in Malaysia. Catholic Bishop Dr Paul Tan Chee Ing said:

This incident marks a new and more insolent height in the intimidation of Christians in this country… The bullying of Christians has become a casual sport for bankrupt politicians in this country who are out to redeem their waning popularity … Initially, Christians must have felt that the leaders of this country are too sensible to allow the sport of Christian bashing and humiliation to proceed with impunity … But now after repeated instances of Christian bashing in recent years, Christians are awakened to the reality that this latest incident is not something aberrant but normative … If this incident is allowed to pass without rectification, it will be downhill all the way after this

This hatred of the Cross is of the same spirit that possesses the leftist heretics in America and the Western world. Just look at what these devil worshippers did to crosses in Pennsylvania very recently, which were placed in a university to honor all of the children who have been killed by abortion:

These crosses were posted as an expression of condemnation against abortion — the murder of infants. Why do such evil people hate the Cross and human life? Because they hate justice.

For the Holy Cross is the truest image of justice, for on the Cross Justice Himself destroyed the “works of the devil” (1 John 3:8), which are the originators of all injustice. There is most definitely a relationship between hatred for the Cross of Christ and hatred for justice.

Muslims slaughter Christians in the most horrific ways, and yet they hate the Cross of Christ, believing the Crucifixion to be only a mere illusion. In their own Islamic scriptures they say that Jesus “will descend, breaking the cross, killing the swine and abolishing the jizya [tax on non-Muslims]”. ISIS placed this text onto their videos of them killing the Copts and the Ethiopian Christians who were just recently martyred. They hate the Cross and at the same time they hate human life, and this is because they hate justice.

In the Middle Ages there was a very powerful cult called the Cathars. They as well hated the Cross, and like the Muslims, believed that the Crucifixion was only a mere illusion. When a certain Abbot made the sign of the Cross, a Cathar knight saw him and said to him, “may the sign of the cross never come to my aid.” (Peter of les Vaux-de-Cernay, 2.53) And like the Muslims the Cathars hated human life. If a lay Albigensian was seriously ill, the Perfect saw to it that they should never heal; for suicide was esteemed as the highest form of death to these malevolent sadists, and was carried out in a ritual called endura. (Carroll, A History of Christendom, vol. iii, ch. v, pp. 165-166)

The Albigensian priests were adamant about preventing life, that they seized a baby and began to starve him, and as he was on the verge of death, the mother swiftly took her child and fed him. When priests began the process of starvation, some of them would change their mind and attempt to eat, but these were forced by the other priests to continue the ritual. (See Moczar, Seven Lies about Catholic History, ch. iv, p. 90)  Rainier Sacconi, a former Cathar who turned Catholic, wrote concerning this ritual:

“Many of them, on this account, have directed those waited upon them in sickness not to put any food or drink into their mouths if they (the sick person) could not at least say a Pater Noster; whence it is very probably that many of them kill themselves by this means, or are killed by their heretical brethren.” (Rainier Sacconi: A Thirteenth-Century Inquisitor on Catharism, in Edward Peters, Heresy and Authority in Medieval Europe, ch. iii, p. 129)

The Cathars in medieval Europe were inheritors to the heresy of Manichaeanism, founded by Mani, and they were merely an extension of a cult that was quite popular in the Byzantine Empire, called the Paulicians (see the map above). Many battles were fought between Christians and Paulicians, and there is one battle in particular which illustrates the cosmic war that we are in, between the carriers of the Cross and the haters of the Cross.

The sun deprived her illuminating hands from the sky, and no longer did the harsh earth feel the warmth of her embraces, when evening came about, and the advancers of heresy — those followers of Mani and agents of Antichrist! — stood on the foot of the mountain, in a land called Bathyrryax, ravenously scheming their next pounce upon another victim of their demonic terror. While the soldiers of the devil stood at the bottom of the mountain, the gallant soldiers of Christendom stood on the top of the arid pinnacle, while a smaller body of six hundred elite fighters anticipated for the diabolical enemy on a lower point, awaiting for the order to charge upon the haters of God.

The smaller garrison concealed themselves behind the blackness of the night, when they, like the warriors of Gideon, approached the camp of the Paulicians, and before the rays of the dawn could even graze the rugged peaks of this wilderness, the charge of the Christians from the top of the mountain met the gazes of the heretics. There went forth the Christian army, the ones who glorified the Holy Cross of Christ — the most elite of warriors — “who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross” (Hebrews 12:2), and now these soldiers, who were “one body by the cross” (Ephesians 2:16), emulating the forbearance of Christ, denied themselves and carried up their own cross, in the battle against the devil.

Their troops charged foreword, and like the Israelites before them, they shook the ears of the heretics with a loud shout from their thundering voices, and with the braying of their trumpets the air echoed with their resounding noise throughout the peaks of the wilderness, and it seemed as though the very earth shook. And there stood the enemy, baffled and fear-stricken, who were only fighting for the cause of Antichrist, for they were the ones of whom St. John warned when he wrote of those who “do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.” (2 John 1:7)

They were of the armies of the diabolical, “the enemies of the cross of Christ” (Philippians 3:18), who like the the Muslims had nothing but indignation for that majestic moment when God Himself crushed the devil on the Cross, by saying that it was only an illusion. And now, as Christ defeated the devil through sacred combat on the Cross, these holy and gallant warriors were to defeat the advancers of Satan with the Cross.

For under the gleam of the moonlight, as the roaring of the trumpets filled the air and pierced the ears, and the ascending hollers of Christendom’s defenders terrified the Paulicians, the Christian warriors, with all the might of their voices, sung with reverent harmony, “The Cross has conquered!” They charged and smashed into the enemy ranks, and as they fought and slew the blood of infidels, the warriors who stood upon the mountaineer joined in the warlike and sacred hymn, and words of the sound permeated the battle.

There a heretic was struck, and one would hear the words of the song, and be reminded that truly the Cross has conquered over those who denied the Cross. The Paulcians did not even take the time get organize themselves, or to gain strength, and they began to retreat. The Christians called upon the warriors who stood upon the mountain, and these descended from the top, and now joined the pursuit, adding even more fear and terror to the hearts of the Paulicians. For thirty miles they chased after the enemy, and made an entire trail of corpses. (This whole battle is recounted by Skylitzes, Byzantine History, 6.19. For more on the battles against the Paulicians, see Anna Comnena, 6.1-2, 4)

All of these people are the enemies of the cross of Christ (Philippians 3:18) because they hate justice. Hatred for the Holy Cross is enmity against justice. Christ declared as He stood on the holy hill, “Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after justice: for they shall have their fill.” (Matthew 5:6) And as the Savior hung on the Holy Cross, He said: “I thirst.” (John 19:28)

Christ’s thirst was not physical; for all of the waters of the earth were His. It was a thirst for justice. And when He cried out from the Cross, “It is finished!” it was not a cry of defeat, but a declaration of victory; a victory for justice over evil, for the destruction of the works of devil (1 John 3:8), which are the enemies of all justice, for they are the enemies of the Holy Cross. Christ said, “Seek ye therefore first the kingdom of God, and his justice, and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33)

To seek the Kingdom of Heaven first is to then seek justice, and thus to war against the forces of evil. “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 9:10), and “The fear of the LORD is to hate evil” (Proverbs 8:13). Since the beginning of wisdom is to fear the Lord, and the possessing of that wisdom means hating evil, then to seek the Kingdom of God first, is to have this very wisdom, and to despise all of the sinister forces of darkness, and this mostly definitely entails striving for justice. For to strive for justice is to carry the Cross of Christ, Who is the incarnation of Justice.

To pursue justice is to have zeal within the spirit, that same zeal that Christ possessed when He drove the merchants out when they prostituted His Father’s House, and fulfilled the holy prophesy, “Zeal for your house will consume me.” (John 2:17)

Now that we — the Church — are all temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19), then we must have zeal for all of the Christians who are being persecuted and afflicted by thieves who come for no other reason but “to steal and kill and destroy” (John 10:10).

Christendom, headed by the General Jesus Christ, will soon arise to destroy all of the enemies of the Cross — the Muslims, the sodomites, the atheists, and all of the adversaries of the Crucified One — all such insidious people will either be converted to the true Faith or struck down by our Holy King, Who ” shall execute kings in the day of His wrath. He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill the places with dead bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries.” (Psalm 110:5-6)

People ask me whether or not I have a DVD with all of my ideas on Christian militancy. The answer is yes. We have made a 2 disk DVD which, for a number of hours, explains and shows that Christianity is truly here to fight against evil, by showing the history of the Church and her numerous wars against Islam and paganism.
