Shame: Throughout The Arab Media They Portray Obama In The Worst Racist Vile Epithet As “Nigger Obama”

By Walid Shoebat

When it comes to U.S. media, using the ‘N’ word, is rightfully considered a vile epithet. But this is not the case throughout the Arab Muslim world, especially when it comes to President Barack Obama who escalated the race wars and complained about being racially profiled here in the U.S. If one searched Obama with the “N” word in mainstream U.S. media, it is either embedded by racists in the comment section or it is instantly condemned by any media host.

In the Arab world, from Palestine, the state which Obama champions, all the way to Saudi Arabia and Egypt, Obama is portrayed in the worst racist vile term as “Nigger Obama”. And this is not just some small time blogs, but in prominent Middle Eastern media and newspapers.

For example, the popular Palestinian Arab newspaper, Al-Quds (Jerusalem), a major defender of the Palestinian cause, a cause that is also championed by President Obama, the paper makes fun and describes how common it is to call Obama “Nigger Obama,” so without apology they print:

” … They [Al-Sisi’s supporters] continue to describe him as Nigger Obama because of his black color. The monkey in the eyes of his mother is Angelina Jolie and the gazelle in the eyes of the husband’s wife is a monkey.”

So popular is this title, that it is given to Obama in Egypt, which the Jerusalem Al-Quds circulated, that in one mainstream national television program, Al-Rasd, it did not condemn or censor one interview on the streets of Egypt calling Obama even worse terms than just the ‘N’ word. The scene with posters of Al-Sisi in full view of the camera, one women says that having a military man like Al-Sisi in Egypt is best since he can be a terror to Al-Kalb, El-A’bd Obama, in English: “Obama the Dog the Nigger” (watch at 1:03):

One would think that the interviewer would condemn the woman and cut her off, not so, and the clip went viral and was circulated by most major media outlets with little condemnation and mostly support.

The top ranked Yom7 mainstream TV in Egypt, the view on President Obama from the streets of Cairo using vile terminology is neither condemned or censored, the Muslim woman dressed in Hijab speaks in English, except in the end, knowing that this is only for Arabs, she says a few words in Arabic calling President Obama Jild Al-Hantour Obama, Arabic for “brown skinned carriage mule”:

The popular Egyptian TV EgyMedia has this photo of Obama with the caption “The dog father of dogs the current U.S. President”:

If anything, Obama’s favoring the Palestinians lacks in that his war on racism needs to focus more on whom he supports. Alwatan Voice, a major Palestinian newspaper which comes out of the Palestinian capital in Ramallah, in one article they print regarding Obama’s support for their cause:

“Obama declared that the prevailing borders before the 1967 Arab-Israeli war–adjusted to some degree to account for Israeli settlements in the West Bank–should be the basis of the deal”

While they print Obama’s views as is, in English, they then continue in Arabic which we translated:

“The political translation of all this is that when Obama is in front of his [Jewish] masters at AIPAC, which represents the [Israeli] Lobby, which supports the supposed Jewish state … all this would not prove the manhood of Nigger Obama …” (See another article with the same usage in the same paper [here])

And next door to ‘Palestine’ is Jordan, where in one article the war of words began between Muslim Brotherhood leaders (another group Obama champions to save their leader Mohammad Morsi), on whether it is right or wrong to call President Obama “Nigger Obama” which the controversy circulated and went viral throughout the entire Middle East.

Article from Jordan News titled “Raheel El-Gharaybeh criticizes Hammam Saeed who described Obama as “Nigger”

In the article it stated:

Jordan News – The prominent Muslim Brotherhood leader Dr. Raheel Al-Gharaybeh on his Facebook criticized what was released lately by several Islamists that described President Obama as ‘Nigger Obama’… In the meanwhile, the office [of the Muslim Brotherhood] criticized what came out of the lips of the General Observer of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hammam Saeed, in describing the American President ‘Nigger’ as “improper”.

Even the most popular religious Muslim media, have no problem with using the term “Nigger Obama”. For example, Islam Memo, a top rated Muslim website proudly re-published the clip on “Nigger Obama” from Egypt.

On I The Muslim (Muslim.org), another Muslim website, an article titled “What Does Mr. Usama Want From Nigger Obama?” The article argues “so why did we use ‘Mr.’ for ‘Usama’ but when it came to Obama we used the degraded “Nigger Obama” and this should not be considered racism …”

Even the Fonxe.net which known in the Middle East as an Academy For Arab Literature priding itself on Arabic poetry has a poem about Obama we translated the first line:

“”I am free’, so thinks in his heart this Nigger Obama like a babbling drunkard he fulfills the covenant of the Jews”.

Even on news that monitor the Saudi stock market Hawamer.com someone complained about adjusting the title which called Obama “Nigger Obama” in which the response was:

“He was the most cowardly, definitely the worst president ever, and he betrayed us [Saudi Arabia] and for this Obama deserves this view of calling him “Nigger Obama”.

Even in the Saudi Tadawul (Economic Exchange) which monitors Saudi stocks some investors comment that “Nigger Obama” justifies such a vile title.

The Levant Committee For The Learned, a group that prides itself being poets and authors, one author writes:

“The immortalized Arab poet Mutanabbi said regarding Camphor Alikhchidi who ruled Egypt for 21 years, in his famous poem, which apparently – Camphor effected by bondage similar to that  American Nigger Barack Obama in his actions. Although he became king, Camphore is from Abyssinia, as Obama is from Kenya, whose father was an atheist slave who with the chorus of slaves came to serve the white racists as Obama is today [another racist] … as Mutanabi said do not buy the nigger unless a stick accompanies him, niggers are filthy cursed …Camphor served his master and was a faithful slave who learned from his [Muslim] masters justice and righteousness. The destiny of Obama was to learn villainy and vile from his [Christian] white masters as these still remain in him, the slavery of the white man as a characteristic. For this  Mutanabbi wrote of camphor saying, “Do not buy the nigger, but the stick with him, the nigger  is cursed impure … whoever teaches the castrated nigger is an honor for the whites straighten them out and his fathers hunted him for sale …

The poet Mutanabbi is no small fry either, he is the icon Shakespeare of all Arab poets throughout Arab history.

The  Yemenis in Germany run Al-Tahrir “Freedom” express in one report they wrote:

“The Washington Post exposes the blasphemies of Nigger Obama who stems from the lineage of American niggers …”.

One Muslim journalist Saeed Al-Thaqafi tweets his curses on Obama saying:

“May Allah curse Obama and may Allah also curse all the niggers of that Nigger Obama and may Allah curse all who praise Obama .. enough said”.

The Al-Binaa Syrian Newspaper, in the Good Morning Its Friday section, commends Argentinian President Cristina Fernández de Kirchne for challenging “Nigger Obama”:

“The talk for Friday this week for all the ‘good mornings’ we send to everyone who deserves it … we greet you good mornings to to Argentinian President Cristina Fernández de Kirchne for challenging Nigger Obama from the podium in New York …”

Other examples can be seen in Syria (see Zaman Al-Wasl newspaper) using the same vile terms.

But to complete the journey on this subject would have me write pages and pages of essays filled with volumes on how Obama is described in derogatory terms in major Middle East media. All one needs to do is peruse Obama in Arabic in any media or comment section, and to find a fan would be scarce.
