Kurdish forces in Kobani attacked thirty ISIS terrorists, killing all thirty of them and capturing one jihadist. One Middle East report says:
Residents of Kobani have fled the city as Islamic State (IS) militants once again attacked Kobani on Thursday morning 25th June. The Turkish government has not yet opened the border crossing to civilians yet.
BasNews sources reporting from the scene say clashes between Kurdish fighters of People’s Protection Units (YPG) and IS insurgents continue in Kobani. “Civilians are fleeing to the border between Syria and Turkey.”
YPG fighters claim that they have captured one jihadist and killed 30 others who entered the town covertly.
YPG commander Chakdar Kobani told BasNews that they have halted IS progress and most of the extremists have been killed.
At least 80 civilians were killed and 200 injured during the clashes, many of whom remain on the streets requiring medical treatment.
