Hardly a century ago the saying in Britain used to be “the sun never sets on the British Empire.” Now as the British government working in union with British institutions and even the practically non-existent Church of England have nearly scrubbed Christianity’s last vestiges from British society, Islamic hordes are invading and the land is falling into darkness.

Oxford was founded some time in the late 11th century and like most European schools, was taught by monks and emphasized a classical education. The school has changed many times, especially after the Protestant Revolution and with the increasing secularization of British society, but the fact is that Oxford is a “staple” of British society- it is one of the nation’s defining institutions. When something about it changes, it means something.

This gradual abolition of Christianity from Oxford is another step towards the death of over 2000 years of English history. either Britain must re-embrace the Faith which bore it into exitence, or its culture, history, and people will be overwhelmed and extinguished as a the third-world barbarians pour in and destroy what little of that nation is left.

As the article notes, this is not about the “marginalization of Christianity.” No, to the contrary, it is about the extinction of Christianity.

From the UK Daily Mail:

Students reading theology at Oxford University have managed to overturn the 800-year-old tradition that they have to study Christianity throughout their course.

Changes are being made to the three-year undergraduate degree to keep up with the changing face of Britain.

Students will study Christianity in their first year but from second year onwards will have the option of a broader choice of areas to study.

he driving force behind the move away from the study of Christianity entirely, was ‘the dramatic change in the way religion is seen and practised in the UK,’ Professor Zachhuber said.

‘The dominance of the Church of England has been receding but at the same time religion hasn’t disappeared.

‘We want to offer to potential students what is interesting for them and that has changed a lot in the last 30 years.

‘We recognise that the people who come to study at Oxford come from a variety of different backgrounds and have legitimately different interests.

‘They come from the respected communities of Britain.’

Professor Zachhuber told the Daily Mail yesterday: ‘It’s really a bigger picture. It’s not about a marginalisation of Christianity, but it’s a recognition that when we talk about religion, and that includes Christianity today, we’re talking about a complex and pluralistic picture.’
