Atheism doesn’t care about any other religion except Christianity. They are quite clear about this. The root of atheism is in the great majority of cases nothing to do with an intellectual disbelief in God, but a hatred of God which they present as intellectualism to conceal their true vitriol against their creator, which is often held for personal reasons. Therefore, and many times knowingly so, atheists substitute their own conception of morality for that of divinely revealed morality, and in that sense they make themselves ‘god’ in the same way that Adam and Eve did- they commit the sin of the garden of Eden, claiming to be able to know and define good and evil.
As such, to more qualities will follow the atheist. The first, is of an equally vitriolic anti-clericalism directed against the the Church. Second, is what the Rolling Stones called Sympathy for the devil, not because they believe, per se, but simply in order to insult God by any means they can.
Giosue Carducci, considered one of the founders of modern satanism, was actually an atheist. He was strongly anti-clerical, and he wrote poems in praise of the evil one simply to spite Christianity.
One of the major targets of atheists has been the “tax-free” status which the IRS “grants” to churches. There are many, many moral problems with this, as it was the Freemasons who forced this system in the USA in order to disembowel the power of specifically the Catholic Church. However, the 501(c)3 status still allows, at the very least, for churches to hold property and not have to surrender it because of the extortionate taxes which the government would impose on them (reminder: nobody actually owns property in the USA, but merely holds title to it from the government- try not paying property taxes and see what happens).
Atheists and their god-hating allies have for a long time been working to abolish the tax-free status of the churches in America, and they give the same reasons for it- “equality,” “it’s not fair to others,” “everybody has to pay their fair share,”- the same excuses they always give. What their real intentions are indeed are the same as always- they want to destroy the social and political influence of the Churches in society, effectively reducing them to become puppets under and of the government, while at the same time placing themselves in government positions. It is not because they actually care about justice, but because they want to play judge, jury, and executioner for the love of power and control.

The evil about this story is in the details. First, the city of Madison, which is notoriously liberal, has absolutely no place in charging property taxes on this piece of land. This is simply about money, as are most of these attempts at either taking or expropriating land from the Church throughout history. Second, which is more evil, is the support of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, an atheist group, who filed a motion in support of the city of Madison, WI’s tax decision:
An atheist organisation has filed a brief in court supporting a city’s decision to tax a vacant Catholic Church property in Madison, Wisconsin.
In a brief filed with the Dane County Circuit Court Branch 16, the Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) said the St. Raphael’s Congregation should not be exempted from paying property tax on a lot that was the former site of a cathedral that burned down in 2005.
The church filed a lawsuit against Madison City last year to recover more than $98,000 in taxes it paid in 2014 on a lot in downtown Madison that has been assessed to cost more than $4 million.
“All Madison taxpayers should not have to pay more taxes while St. Raphael’s invests in its other property holdings in Madison and holds the St. Raphael’s lot for future development,” said FFRF staff lawyer Patrick Elliott wrote. “It is precisely for this reason that property must be used to maintain an exemption.”
St. Raphael’s lawyer said in court documents that “the Madison Diocese is faced with the daunting task of raising an estimated $50 million for the project amidst the Diocese’s other pressing financial obligations and needs” such as building a student apartment at another church property.
“The church’s sense of entitlement to a tax exemption is astounding,” said FFRF co-president Annie Laurie Gaylor. “Municipalities must tax religious properties that are not being used for that purpose, to demonstrate to taxpayers that church holdings are not being given special preference.”
This filing was done with evil intentions in mind only. It should make clear to you what these atheists and their allies are thinking- they are coming to take your churches, rob your wealth, and persecute you Christians until you are absolutely powerless, and then some more again until you cease to exist. These people do not care about taxes or money- they care only about power, and any way to ingratiate themselves with the state’s decisions in this matter which they can use to their favor now and, as they did in Russia 1917, to exerminate you if they have the opportunity.
Execution of Russian Orthodox clergy by atheist Bolsheviks.
Don’t think that the atheists in the USA won’t try this if they get the chance to.
