Muslims in Pakistan kidnapped a 14 year old Christian girl and when her father tried to rescue her, they took him and murdered him. As we read in one report:
A 14-year-old Christian girl was kidnapped in Faisalabad, Pakistan, and her father was killed when he tried to rescue her, according to AsiaNews and L’Osservatore Romano.
The Vatican newspaper described the perpetrators as a “group of fundamentalists,” while AsiaNews described them a “group of Muslims.”
The abduction took place in March, and the father, Tanveer Masih, was killed in May. Police have made no arrests, and the widow and her three other daughters are afraid to leave their home.
“I pray that my daughter will continue to place hope and faith in Jesus Christ,” the widow, Najma Bibi, told AsiaNews.
