The Trump Administration Tells Russia To Return Crimea To The Ukraine, The Russian Government Tells Trump: ‘We Will Never Return Crimea.’

By Theodore Shoebat

The Trump administration demanded Russia to return Crimea to the Ukraine, and the Russian government has told Trump that Crimea will never be returned. I did a whole video on this:

According to one report:

United States President Donald Trump’s administration on Wednesday (Feb 15) called upon Russia to return the annexed Crimea to Ukraine. However the country led by Vladimir Putin fired back, saying it had no plans of returning its “territories.”

The statement from Russia came after the Trump Administration and the president himself, in his tweet, said the previous Obama administration had gone “too soft” on Russia after it had annexed Crimea.

“Crimea was TAKEN by Russia during the Obama Administration. Was Obama too soft on Russia?” Trump tweeted.

In response to America’s call and Trump’s tweet, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told reporters: “We don’t return our territories. Crimea is a territory of the Russian Federation.”

Spokesperson of the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov also said that the matter of Crimea was not up for discussion with its foreign partners. “The theme of returning Crimea will not be discussed… Russia does not discuss its territorial integrity with foreign partners,” Dmitry said.

Crimea, which became a part of Ukraine in 1954, was annexed by Russia in 2014. Russia said an overwhelming majority of Crimeans had voted to become a part of Russia in a referendum that year seeking protection from what the Kremlin cast as an illegal coup in Kiev.

Ukraine, however, said the referendum was just for show and was organised at a gunpoint after the Russian troops annexed the peninsula.

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer on Tuesday said: “President Trump has made it very clear that he expects the Russian government to de-escalate violence in Ukraine and return Crimea.”

The Russian annexation of Crimea prompted the European Union and the US to impose sanctions on Russia, deteriorating West’s relations between Russia for the worse since the Cold War.

interesting. maybe if Russia works with the Taliban they will back off using opium money and once USA is out of there the poppy fields can be exterminated like the original Taliban was doing.
the real reason USA is in Afghanistan is to protect the global heroin trade.
      I repeat.
The real reason USA is in Afghanistan is to protect the global heroin trade.

      • DeusLoVult

I didn’t ask for your opinion. You’re as stupid and delusional as they come.

      • Richard

Herion will be brougth in from elsewhere if not Afghanistan.

        • infowolf1

heroin is processed out of opium which comes from the poppy Almost not all but almost all poppy fields are in Afghanistan. Two other big growers were the bekaa valley in Lebanon and Turkey but Afghanistan is the big source now aside from a few efforts in south American and mexico and grow your own attempts in California.
          these are piddling.
the real big deal is Afghanistan. if you can destroy the poppy fields there, you can make an incredible dent in the supply.

    • Grandmere

Why? Because it’s from Breitbart. LOL

      • DeusLoVult

        Gotta problem with that?

        • Grandmere

He doesn’t like Breitbart. It’s a free country so I got no problem with it. I was just giving you a possible reason the story isn’t picked up. XO

          • We don’t like its direction and where they plan to lead people. Most of what they post on factual issues are factual. We just need to be careful thats all.

          • Grandmere

Exactly. I was kidding around with my friend and it seems like I was misunderstood. The sky is blue. The sun is shining. The trees and flowers are in bloom. I’m in a happy mood right now. XOs to Maria and all the family.

          • Kamau41

I knew you were just kidding around, Grandmere….

          • Grandmere

XOs to the family. I’m still praying that the rain moderates for you. At least, if the dam breaks, you know how to row.

          • Kamau41

            Sure do. Thanks Grandmere. XO

          • On this Sunday Special I will show you an example on something Breitbart used, this is top expert George Friedman and how Brietbart uses Friedman and Friedman uses Breitbart when what Breitbart posted from Friedman was COMPLETELY the opposite of what he believes. COMPLETE AND TOTAL CONTRADICTION. And these are supposed to be reliable.

These days, there are no real reliable media sources. Neither left or right. Its all politicized. This is why we all fall into traps because we trust the sources. It is indeed a very difficult thing to do. I trust Friedman when he writes for liberal consumption, but I completely do not trust the man when he writes for conservatives. It is all about money.

          • Grandmere

Sorry. I am not relying on it. Andrew is on Grandmere’s naughty chair in the corner. I’ll let him go when I’m good and ready.

          • James Allen

Walid. What do you think that Trump should do about Crimea? I’m out of my depth on this one.
And thanks for your great website. God speed.

          • DeusLoVult

I’m sorry, my lady. I couldn’t tell if you were mocking me or not.

          • Grandmere

It’s okay. You called me on it and I answered. We are in most excellent shape, brother.

          • DeusLoVult

Indeed, my lady. God bless you and yours.

        • susan

What exactly do you want him to say? Here we go again? Big dicks swinging over Afghanistan? It’s the same old record..only the blood is fresh and new.

          • DeusLoVult

What do I want him to say? I want to hear an honest opinion, my lady. Nothing more, nothing less. That’s what I expect to hear every time I listen to one of his videos, whether I agree with it or not.

          • susan

He gave an honest assessment on exactly what the wicked are up to. And he made clear that American policy doesn’t change. So Afghanistan is no surprise. We’ve been there before as have the Russians. Horrific tortures done to both armies. :(.
The focus is the rising turmoil in Europe. It’s coming fast. But where are the honest assessments on that? Or the antichrist in Turkey? Has Breitbart written about that?

          • Стефан Евгений

The Russian saying comes to mind ” Don’t touch it, it will stink’ we don’t need more stories like this, things can really blow up in a hurry.

          • susan

            Exactly!

      • Стефан Евгений

Just more muck raking…. I’m really tired of reading the evil one’s paper.

        • Grandmere

I usually check the headlines. It’s kind of like an all you can eat joint. Some greasy fried fish and chicken but no filet mignon. Every once in a while though, they have some decent beef tips.

          • susan

And Pepcid Gramdmere. Lots of Pepcid.

        • DeusLoVult

“muck raking” Never seen the word “facts” spelled that way, Rusky. Care to enlighten us on how any of that is wrong? By all means, share it.

          • Стефан Евгений

Its not the facts that are the problem i checked and are true. the problem is the slant that Russia will be making problems for USA….. Some in Russia would love that. It is just i don’t like the un -forseen problems of talking to them. I try to respond but the laptop acted strange. It would be really dumb for Russia to stir the pot…. the Russian saying comes to mind Don’t touch it, it will stink.

          • DeusLoVult

The slant is understandable, given how strongly we feel about the Taliban…the real problem is that the US and Russia are stuck in this cycle of vengeance and re-vengeance. It’s a big mess and no one is taking steps to clean it up.

          • Стефан Евгений

Putin has done a good job of keeping things calm. The problem is the hotheads in Russia wish to lash back at all the stupid slights Obamy did

          • DeusLoVult

Just like Congress wants to pressure Trump in continuing our ‘hard’ stance on Russia. There’s a disturbing lack of foresight present in both Eastern and Western political spectrum…people like Erdogan are exploiting it with great success.

  • HolyFire

Your conclusion summed up the video well, when it comes to supporting either side of evils coin the choice is simple, choose neither!

I know you don’t want to hear this, but I’m personally convinced we’re well and truly past the point of no return. Only a miraculous divine intervention by God Almighty Himself or the Queen of Heaven and Earth (sent by Him) can turn this tide.

That doesn’t mean we should put down our crosses and give up, quite the opposite. Our corporal works of mercy, prayer, penance, frequenting the Sacraments, exposing evil, evangelism, etc, all continues with increasing fervor and urgency.

The fall of the holy Roman Empire and Emperor (following the apostasy of Catholic nations) was the end of the Church’s civil power and influence in this world (for now). That was, in part, the militant arm of the Church.

I have zero faith in any counterfeit versions of Christianity however ‘close’ they ‘might’ be to the Catholic Faith (a Faith that Catholics themselves have largely shunned in modern times), as deeply as this will offend non-Catholics here.

The intent isn’t too offend. It’s merely to share my present view on the situation. Most of you, if you are honest, feel exactly the same with respect to the version of faith you proclaim.

    • Juan

I honestly think that Roman Catholic Church and of course Evangelical churches have reached a no return point. Regarding Orthodox Catholic Church I think it has recovered strength after martyrdom under satanic Bolshevism (a branch of antichrist’s tree). Russia is still a secularized society and syncretist temptation with Sufi Islam is strong among stupid and luciferian intelligentsia (lovers of Gnosticism and esotericism) and neopaganism exist among common people. Anyway Orthodoxy is the only Church that is growing and recovering, mainly in Russian Federation, in the last XXth century and the begining of actual XXIth.

Being a Spaniard, once a very Roman Catholic country, I have realized the failure of Papism and Filioque and tend to think that the West have to come back to Orthodoxy. Now exist a battle inside the U.S. government but also inside Russia. Light and darkness are always at war. When we are externally weaker, stronger we are on Jesus.

      • HolyFire

        Hello brother,

That comment was written without animosity toward anyone, not even fallen away Catholics. It was written with simple honesty and sincerity. I lived most of my life in rebellion of the Faith and Church teaching due in part to a poor formation, and in part to my own pride, etc. I’ll be doing penance for the rest of my life for my own failures let alone the worlds to answer Christ’s call for Salvation.

I disagree with you regarding the Orthodox. Their glories, by and large, were the days when the Church was “united.” Even when their lands had a stronger Faith than Western Europe. The Church was united. When we look at Church history as a whole the Catholic Church as a whole (this includes Eastern Europe and the Middle East when the Church was united), has been the bulwark of the Faith, period.

When the Orthodox Church fell to Islam, the Catholic Church responded. We can argue about the mistakes that were made, the length of time it took for Western Europe to respond, etc. That’s a distraction. We know mans nature is fallen and no man, Catholic or otherwise is perfect. The point is the Church responded and beat the greatest military empire in the known world at that time.

The Catholic Church is the ‘nation’ converting Church. She converted Europe as a united Church. She converted parts of Africa, Asia, the Middle East, South and Central America, as a united Church. The miracles in South and Central America happened at the hand of the Catholic Church.

Her accomplishments as a ‘nation’ converter are unparalleled. Obviously the Orthodox will argue with this. They’ll say the Eastern Orthodox Church was always the Orthodox Church, and that the Chair of Peter is ‘first’ among ‘equals’, etc.

Russia is in the midst of a conversion that isn’t yet complete, and it won’t be complete until she converts to the Catholic Faith, the ONE True Faith.

50 years can’t erase the realities of 2000 years of Church history. The Christian faith in this world is only as strong as the Catholic Church/Faith is in it.

But as you and I both agree, this present crop of Catholic Church leaders (heavily infiltrated by homosexuals, liberals, masons, communists etc), including a man you and I both believe to be a false pope, makes this especially difficult at the present time, if not impossible.

Satan’s kingdom is UNITED. Ours is divided.

We need a divine intervention brother, a miracle from God! The enemies of the Church are growing in strength daily while we continue to flounder. Russia is one nation and one nation only. We need a universal Faith and a universal Church if Christendom is ever going to rise again, which we know she will, as per Bible prophesy and Catholic doctrine.

Christ will respond when enough of us have submitted ourselves to Him in faith, hope, charity, obedience, humility and penance.

Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us.

        Love!

        • Excellent comment and I agree with what you have said.

          • Стефан Евгений

Her comment was really stupid! typical anti Orthodox. what does she know about us? where was she when we were being persecuted…..did she raise her voice or do something to help?

          • I know where you are coming from. I know the Orthodox have suffered much – losing the Hagia Sophia to the Muslim horde and then suffering much under the reign of communism.

I greatly desire for both Catholics and Orthodox to be reunited again.

          • Kamau41

Indeed. The reunification will happen within God’s perfect timing. Patience, Patience, Patience.

          • susan

It’s like sitting in a car with one person holding the steering wheel and the other one with their foot on the gas pedal. The third one sitting in the back with the map needs to say, Let’s get started. Okay. Foot on the gas..gently. Keep both hands on the wheel..we’re going down the hill..

          • Kamau41

Good analogy. Great way to put it.

          • susan

Thank you Kamau. Now if they can just agree on who gets to read the map… 🙂

          • Стефан Евгений

Actualy the pope is on a good footing on this topic. But a statement like this is Too! much,”I have zero faith in any counterfeit versions of Christianity however ‘close’ they ‘might’ be to the Catholic Faith”
We are just as much Catholic as Rome, we just have a diffrent view on Papal powers, that’s all.

          • Vinny Zee

Didn’t you guys already win that battle with Lumen Gentium of Vatican II? “This Church constituted and organized in the world as a society, subsists in the Catholic Church, which is governed by the successor of Peter and by the Bishops in communion with him, although many elements of sanctification and of truth are found outside of its visible structure.”

          • DeusLoVult

And Jaun’s comment was anti-Catholic, but you upvoted that. Let’s not be hypocrites here. There are two sides to consider.

          • Grandmere

I love being Anglican. Not all Orthodox or Catholics love me, but I love them..

          • Стефан Евгений

What Orthodox don’t like you?, where would we be in America without Anglican help.

          • Grandmere

Ask Chris for my e-mail address. I am currently incommunicado.

          • Стефан Евгений

I love you 🙂 and that is all that counts.

          • Juan

Old Anglicans must become Orthodox too, the English Orthodox Church or British Orthodox Church. Modern Anglicans are absolutely influenced by Freemasonry and accept women priests, LGTB rights, Gender ideology, etc.

          • Grandmere

Anglican Church in North America (Mexico, US and Canada) do no such things. ACNA. Archbishop Foley Beach. Also check out GAFCON. Pray for us.

          • Juan

            I’ll do for sure, sister.

          • Juan,

Not all Anglicans. Grand is Anglican and she does not subscribe to any of this. Its kind of strange, but somehow we gather here from all backgrounds and we tend to agree on most issues. I guess we are birds of a feather. Sort of like Samaritans, Sadducees and Pharisees, whatever is leftover of our institutions who are ticked off about what our leaders do at times and so we formed our own gang. We unite and shoot every passerby who does not agree with us 😉

You’re in good company. Here, take this .22 rifle and start shooting 😉

          • Juan

I am in the best company here, Walid. I know that here people try to do their best for Jesus, no matter if we disagree sometimes. Love for Jesuchrist is stronger than disagreement in external things or tactics to achieve the same goal: the Humanity living in Jesus.
I love the gangs made of people coming from different backgrounds. God usually uses leftover people to serve Him instead the people that run official institutions, as we can see when Elohim took out the Hebrews from Egypt or when Our Lord Jesuchrist was accepted by leftover people too.
I ask God we can persevere all our lives serving Jesus with humbleness. Next weekend I will go to Fatima and will pray for you and your family, as well as for all the brothers and sisters here in Shoebat.com
I save all the bullets for Erdogan and his followers. 😉

            Have a nice Sunday 🙂

          • That is a very nice message. Thank you Juan.

          • Juan

            You are welcome Walid.

          • Nan

Thank you for your prayers. You should pray for Erdogan and his followers too.

          • racarrera

Granmere is family here. As she has our back, we have hers.

          • Стефан Евгений

You said ‘And Jaun’s comment was anti-Catholic, but you upvoted that. Let’s not be hypocrites here” His comment was not anti- Catholic. When Rome modernised it lost its way… The west must listen to us b/c what hapend to Russia. is happening Today in the West.
Here is what HH had to say…. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtAexVHRVBA&t=54s
Thankfuly not all Catholics have the views of Holy fire.

          • DeusLoVult

He’s partly correct, but his post was accompanied by a scathing tone and derogatory language.

            Ugh….Stefan Molyneux….sorry, Steve, I can’t stand the guy

          • Стефан Евгений

I don t like Stefan Molyneux either , I wanted people to listen to Iben Thranholm.

          • DeusLoVult

I know…I had to look her up, actually, and I listened to a few minutes, but Stefan’s presence rather annoyed me.

I have a question for you. Can you tell me about the Russo-Georgian War and South Ossetia? I’d like your thoughts on that. I became curious after reading about the whole conflict and the Ossetian paganism.

          • Стефан Евгений

Ohy! what a topic, the wild Caucasians ….Russia had a hard time with these people with tribal ways.
There as just too much blood shed and Russia had to step in something like a vedeta thing between Georgains and Ossetians

          • DeusLoVult

Seems like Russia didn’t realize how violent the feud was…did Ossetian paganism cause the conflict between Georgians and Ossetians?

          • Стефан Евгений

No North and South Ossetia wished to be a part of Russia when the SU fell. they were a part of Soviet Georgia and Georgia wonted them back. The Tie eater was just nuts with all the American weapons.

          • racarrera

She’s quite okay. I had a dialog with her, albeit a brief one, but she seemed devout and sharp. And utterly anti-nationalist.

          • Стефан Евгений

R, I think she can grasp our view of Russkiy Mir, the churches view not the bs from the western press.

          • racarrera

She’s quite okay. I like what I hear from her, and she really does get Orthodoxy. I would not be surprised if she converted eventually.

          • Juan

Wasn’t my intention to be derogatory. May be the word “Papism” can be interpreted as derogatory but it’s just a, may be rude, way to emphasize the big mistake and sin of pride that is the excessive Papal power.
We have now the big common enemy, the Islamic Neo-ottoman Caliphate becoming stronger each day we lost with internal discussions. Christianity needs Unity.

          • DeusLoVult

Well, it came off as rude, and “sin of pride that is the excessive Papal power” is an opinion.

I do believe we need Christian Unity, but you’re not helping with that attitude.

          • Juan

At least both, you and me, believe in Christian Unity, while the pope seems to prefer Syncretism with antichristian religions. Even the Assisi interreligious meetings made by JP2 were, in my opinion, absolutely scandalous.

          • DeusLoVult

I never said I agreed with the particular Pope we have now, and in the recent past. I really don’t like Francis…it’s the state of modern Christianity, sadly. Professing erroneous doctrines and possessing brittle Faith.

          • Vinny Zee

Modernism was condemned by Pope Pius X in Pascendi Dominici Gregis, (1907). The Catholic Church cannot “modernize.” Modernist who enter the church and bring modernist views are condemned. They are not Catholic. Catholics don’t worry about them and are not defined by them.

          • Стефан Евгений

True, but it still hapend, I remember the catholic church my father went to .The new priest striped out the saints and whitewash every thing. even the Altar did not escape, it was chainsawed and ended up in the town dump. My father was a broken man afterward, he stopped going to Mass after that.

          • Nan

I apologize if this is a repeat. I went to the Divine Liturgy at my Byzantine Church and an acquaintance talked about a rural church not expecting me to have heard of the named crossroads, but my friend was married there (Florian, MN, church with hall across the road out in the country). Her sister’s Polish Father in Law made the mold for the Stations of the Cross and the church is big, beautiful and full of marble, including altar rail. After VII, the church got a letter telling them that stations and altar rail had to go. They didn’t remove them. Eventually the bishop sent people to take them out. They’re still there. Everybody knew how their families had sacrificed for the Church and they weren’t going to let anyone mess with it.

          • Grandmere

I don’t understand why they would do that. At my Anglican church we have always had an altar rail and stations of the cross. The stations are read every Friday at noon by a very faithful group of parishioners. I am glad the people stood their ground at their church.

          • Nan

i think someone officious wanted to implement their vision of vii, which happened a lot. they didn’t realize who they were dealing with.

          • Стефан Евгений

Oh! I know those kind of churches, out in the middle of a field is a lovely Catholic church. Good on those people, sadly most of the people did not see it the way my father did.

          • Nan

The changes that were forced through were awful. I went to mass at a beautiful 140 yr old parish which is fundraising for restoration of its sanctuary. They’re dumping that 70s chandelier; it’s big and above the table altar and I think the altar is going too.

          • susan

I’m ashamed to say that I knew nothing about what the Orthodox were enduring under communism. It’s only because of your witness and patience with me that I was able to learn anything about Orthodoxy. Thank you. 🙂

          • Стефан Евгений

Well susan, I should thank you for having a open mind. Here is a Catholic Woman that gets it….. A commenter on this blog pointed her out to me. Ok, not a big fan of this youtuber… but the interview with Iben Thranholm is great… look her up.

          • susan

Lol. Our history together goes back thousands of years. It’s like going to a family reunion and meeting your ancestry. Your roots. 😀
            Thank you.

          • Стефан Евгений

susan, here is the Catholic youtube channel… I know you don’t know Russian but it is an example of us living quietly with each other. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAOh4pBOCVtRmqPHA6YAH2g

          • susan

It’s wonderful and it’s how we are meant to live. As a family. A very, very large one. 😉

          • Vinny Zee

The Catholic church suffered much in Iraq and both suffered a great deal in Syria. I do not think it would be wise for us to ask where is one when the other was suffering. It solves nothing. 700,000 Chaldean Catholics were killed with the Armenians in 1915. We have to recognize the current situation and be prepared to help one another. I did not see Holy Fire as being anti-Orthodox, at least not in the way you will hear ignorant Evangelicals being anti-Catholic.

          • Стефан Евгений

Vinny, I only hear from some Western Catholics that some how we are tainted and not true Catholics in Our right. That somehow we as Orthodox are not like them…. like we are Greek (Pagan) and not East Romans b/c we reject how the Western Church wishes to govern the church. She said this…..Russia is in the midst of a very promising conversion, which any Christian of goodwill applauds. This conversion will be ‘completed’ with a conversion to the fullness of the Catholic Faith ‘one day.’…… see, we are not fully Catholic in Her view and many like her have the same view.
She also said this……. I disagree with you regarding the Orthodox. Their glories, by and large, were the days when the Church was “united.” Our whole contribution of the last thousand years is to be ignored?
She pulled this up and laughed at me …..What is so wrong in the West discovering the good will between East and Western Churches? Remember the West was Orthodox for the first 11 hundred years.
HolyFire Стефан Евгений • a day ago

I’ve never heard a western Catholic, (Who is worth their salt in understanding liturgy and sacraments) ever say the east did not have valid sacraments. Additionally, I’ve never heard that the Russian Orthodox (or any other Orthodox) would ever have to change their liturgy. I attend a Byzantine Rite/Ukranian Catholic Church. It is the same liturgy as the Carpatho/Russian Orthodox Church about 9-10 miles away. I’ve been to both. There are a few nuances that are different in the liturgy, but it is the same liturgy of St. John Chrysostom. The only argument I’ve heard is that in my understanding there was the Orthodox church that was in communion with Rome and the Orthodox Church that is not. We are called to love one another. God has not called me to the clergy or hierarchy of the church. It does not mean I blindly follow or don’t carefully critique. However, I think if the Russian Orthodox and Rome were in communion (hypothetically) the Russian Orthodox would still look like the Russian Orthodox and the Romans would still look like the church of Rome.

I think you see things a little different. You being Orthodox, have to deal with Catholic bias against you. I being Catholic have to deal with Protestant bias against us. I can tell you in all honesty, I’d rather deal with someone who speaks my language than the archaic, asinine things that are promulgated by some Protestants against us.

          • Nan

That far away? Really? My Byzantine Ruthenian Catholic Church is within a mile and a half of the other two churches founded by people from the same place…the Ukrainian Catholic and the Russian Orthodox.

The Maronites and a Latin parish are a block from the Ukrainians, with Serbian Orthodox and FSSP Latin Catholic a block the other way. It’s kindof a church intensive neighborhood.

You said I disagree with you regarding the Orthodox. Their glories, by and large, were the days when the Church was “united.” really? well you have not a clue what you say…. Here are our GLORY”S….. holy fire, sad that you know nothing about them.

There’s something about the martyred Saints that gives me courage and hope to quench the fear of suffering and death. Thank you. It’s a world we westerners know nearly nothing of.

You’re answer is more emotional than substantial. Protestants always share their list of martyrs with Catholics as though they are saints of Church history. I’m not putting the Orthodox in the same category. Your martyrs were saints in Communist Russia. You’ve cited courageous Christians who died at the hands of Russia’s Communist regime.

Every point I made above still stands. You’re zooming in on a single dot on the map. Catholics are looking at the whole map universally.

          • Стефан Евгений

Holyfire I actually l was taught better by my Volga-German Roman Catholic father, and Russian Orthodox mother to show mercy to RCs much for what they say is a misunderstanding of who we are as Russian Orthodox.
you said You’re answer is more emotional than substantial……. emotional maybe, but you did not worry if the teacher found your baptismal cross, and the house would be empty b/c your family was shot, or headed to the gulag… not to mention what mental hospital you would be sent to to cure you of being a Christian.
you said we Orthodox don’t look at the whole picture. Well we do… you just don’t pay attention to what we do.
We see where the west is going and it is not pretty. Christian persecution is here in the west. you could learn from us.

            Steven,

I understand that we live in a hypersensitive age, I get it. I’ve had ‘moments’ too. Who hasn’t?

I love you and have nothing personal against you. Love is a fire! It’s not this sissy sentimentality and accompaniment that poses as love today (in the West). Russians still have a spine.

If you can somehow remove your ‘offense’ from everything I wrote to Juan, I don’t think you’ll find anything that unreasonable in there.

Did I not criticise the present condition of the Catholic Church and clergy? Did I not acknowledge my own history of sin and imperfection? Have I not criticised the dismal state of the West?

Putting a magnifying glass on what the Orthodox suffered under communist tyranny does nothing to address the real and enduring problem i.e. ‘division.’

History has proven that the Faith on a global scale is at its strongest when the Catholic Church is at the center of it. Russian is in the midst of a very promising conversion, which any Christian of goodwill applauds. This conversion will be ‘completed’ with a conversion to the fullness of the Catholic Faith ‘one day.’

Catholics all around the world pray for Russia DAILY thanks to Our Lady of Fatima. These prayers continue.

            We LOVE Russia!

          • Newf

Learn from you we can, so tell me how do we deal with the heresy of modernism which is the smoke within the Roman Catholic Church we are dealing with today, thats steering western civilization into self destruction, any suggestions?

          • Стефан Евгений

Newf, a good start is veneration of local saints especially those of the first millennium.
The only reason we came out out from State supported Atheism is our devotion to the New Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Land. Support Traditional Mass, Pray. and pray again

          • Newf

Thanks for the tippers, I’m all for tradition which is pure catholic but the more we pray the worst this cancer seems to get. Just look at what many of the priest are saying. The heresy has engulfed the priesthood. Now a schism is beginning to develop. This is worst than the Arian heresy. The pope verbally attacks us who hold onto tradition, he’s attacking the family. we’re being punished with bad priest abandoning the faith and layfolk, it’s the worst chaistisement ever. Was it like that in Russia, did your priest abandon the flock during the persecution ? the heretic modernist priest are beginnng to verbally persecute the ones holding onto to tradition. That may sound crazy but it’s true.

          • Стефан Евгений

Newf , it was really bad in soviet Russia, Grandmother said our priest was taken to the gulag and never heard from. But at the same time i had to be smart to fool the teachers and hide my baptismal cross. I learned from the old men and the Babas(grandmothers) how to be a pious christian. We had good priests and bad priests but we hung on. we did the best we could do.

These are the words of St. Damascene of Glukhov, it may help.
Personally I’m no fond of the views of this youtuber he is too hard. but his English translations are good of the catacomb sts of Russia.
there are a few views of the soviet mocking God, then the script.

          • Newf

Yes your right no question mark on that one , old Newfies put it as , ” things have gone modern, I spose that’s the cause. Young is gone crazy. ” The dear Lord has been nearly forgotten in the west. Too much technology now, way too much, the old Russians are right. it’s our turn now for something bad to happen to us. Hello sister,

I know that your comment was from heart and without animosity. I just want to express that our fall as a civilization (Western one) started in 1054 when we split off from Orthodoxy. Anyway everything what happens in History or in a human life is for a good end because God is always trying to save us with infinite Love. In our fall we learned a lot but now it’s time to come back to the purity of Faith.
The Roman Catholic Church turned the pope in an absolute king able to change the Faith (calling him infallible!) and we are just watching what happens when a community give the all the power to one man. The Roman Catholic missionaries did a wonderful work evangelizing the Americas and parts of Asia and Africa and the Roman Catholic Church preserve valid Sacraments (including Novus Ordo Missae) and Apostolic Succession.
We acted quite good as a nation converter but it’s also true that occultism is present inside the Church since Borgias and Medicis Popes times and that Roman Catholicism didn’t avoid the most rabid nationalism in Roman Catholic nations like Spain. Spanish Empire built a colonial system based in a mix of racism, privileged families and ignorance that persisting until today… I tend to laugh when Mexicans complain about Donald Trump being a racist because Mexico is a very racist country where mixed people despise pure native Americans and hate the Spaniards (they don’t like the two materials they are made from). Even today northern Spain maintain the powerful families that control the country and in southern Spain the Church always make the appointment of northerner bishops (ex. existing very good and honest priests in Seville the Ecclesial hierarchy send homosexual and/or corrupted northerner bishops to the South). The Roman Catholic unity cannot even make unity inside a country. Is this an isolated issue and Roman Catholic Church is Universal and avoid nationalism?Just go to Poland and you will find the most rabid racist, chauvinistic and xenophobic people in Europe… Germans, including right wing ones, have one hundred times more hospitality than Poles. Roman Catholic nations are just as nationalist as any other.
From Teutonic Knights to Russian Revolution (fabricated in the West) passing through IVth crusade Roman Catholic Church have a long History of direct aggressions against Orthodoxy, that is against Christian brothers and sisters. This is something we, the actual generation, must change collaborating with Orthodoxy against antichristian common enemies.
Of course the Orthodox aren’t sinless and they did also bad things but the biggest geopolitical aggressions came and come from the misguided West because the importance that Roman Catholic Church have to the pope was a sin of pride that after caused the pride of Martin Luther, Jean Calvin, Henry VIII of England, etc. Since 1054 we have fallen in an spiral of pride guided by powerful families of West European nobility, bankers, etc.
In another intervention you ask me about Fatima and Garabandal. I believe in Immaculate Conception (probably the only theological true that I appreciate in Roman Catholic Church and that I would ask to accept from Orthodoxy) and I also believe in Fatima (I will go there next weekend). I also believe in Lourdes and La Salette. I absolutely believe, having visited the place and told with people, that Garabandal is of demonic origin.
We have to be humble a put the pope in his appropriate place that is a first among equals and noway an absolutist king.

          Charitas in Veritas

          • HolyFire

We can agree to disagree here brother. I’ve explained my reasons. You’ve explained yours. Let’s leave it at that.

Who among us has ‘everything’ figured out in this age of confusion?

Garabandal is an apparition I heard of just recently. Our Lady of Fatima is the most relevant to this age for me. The Sun Miracle that accompanied it, with 30,000 witnesses, is nothing short of extraordinary.

You’re blessed to live in Europe despite her falling away, in that you can visit these holy and sacred sites where Our Lady has appeared, etc.

          • Juan

Fatima is a very special place, sister. I will pray for you when visit Our Lady. Anyway She protect every Christian in every place of the Earth.

            Best regards 🙂

          • Nan

Be careful, Garabandal hasn’t been approved and several bishops of the territory have said they can’t conclude that the apparitions are supernatural in anture.

      • HolyFire

Spaniard, what is your view on Our Lady of Fatima (Portugal) and the yet to be approved or denied) apparitions at Garabandal in northern Spain (that received the blessing of Saint Padre Pio)?

  • This doesn’t surprise me. It seem during Tillerson’s confirmation hearing, he was being grilled on Crimea and had to give them answer to satisfy the warmongering congress who hates Russia.

It also appears that Trump wants to continue portraying himself as a tougher guy than Obama was. Apparently Trump is playing a dangerous game with the media because he has plenty of bone of contention with them. So giving them what they want to hear but we don’t know what is truly being said behind closed doors and through telephone conversations.

    • It’s worst than I thought.

Apparently while Obama was on his way out, he set up a scheme in order to aggravate and make life difficult for the incoming Trump administration by authorizing the intelligence services to intercept whatever they can grab and use it to embarrass Trump.

Flynn is the first to be oust by “leaks.”

      https://aclj.org/national-security/is-the-intelligence-community-trying-to-subvert-our-national-security?utm_medium=spredfast&utm_source=twitter&utm_campaign=Informational&utm_content=%5Bunique%5D*&sf52761112=1

It’s becoming clear that while we have people (Christians and otherwise) who do NOT want a lose-lose war with Russia, there are plenty who do, mainly within Congress and the intelligence community.

      • I haste to add that the removal of Flynn is a blessing in disguise because I didn’t liked his appointment due to his pro-Erdogan lobbying. He wanted the Trump’s administration to work closely with Erdogan. Now he’s out.

Unfortunately, whoever comes after him may not be any better.

        • Richard

It surely is a blessing, the next appointment couldn’t be much worse. Maybe the Lord will oust a few more Erdogan lovers from this administrstion, and reveal the true Erdogan to the rest.

          • I have my doubts.

          • Kamau41

I wouldn’t hold my breath on that Richard.

while I don’t support Obama, this droning citizens in the Middle East – a handful of collateral damage if any, some teenager hanging out with his terrorist father, a citizen who turned terrorist, guess what, he wasn’t an American citizen anymore, he forfeited that when he took up arms against the USA I found that out years ago in researching mercenaries.

      • Newf

        Next up Steve bannon.

    • Jerusalem Post reported that the Kremlin isn’t as concerned about this situation:

“The Kremlin said on Friday it was not disappointed by how US-Russia ties were developing under US President Donald Trump and that it would only be possible to assess the outlook for relations once the leaders of both countries had met.

“We haven’t been wearing rose-tinted glasses, we never harbored illusions, so there is nothing to be disappointed in,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on a conference call.

Peskov was responding to a question about whether the Kremlin felt let down by the lack of progress in improving ties with the United States since the inauguration of Trump, who pledged in his campaign to try to rebuild ties with Russia.

“There has not yet been substantive contact between the two heads of state. It’s not known when this will happen. And probably only after they talk will it be clear where significant differences remain and where it is possible to discover areas for cooperation,” said Peskov.”

Seem to me we aren’t being told the whole story…

      • susan

May cooler wiser heads prevail ;). And possible idiots as well. :D. Good find Trevor.

    • Trevor

I just spent some time digging and here is a thought that reflects my own above, from Sputnik News:

In an interview with Radio Sputnik, Vladimir Batyuk, a senior expert
with the US and Canada Institute in Moscow, said that “Trump’s statement
on Crimea was an attempt to appease the anti-Russian US establishment.”

      Source

So while Trump wants to fight the “swamp” of DC politics, he is not stupid, and has to play the game of balancing politics.

Here is another thought, again from an English-language Russia paper:

Experts connect this hot air on return of Crimea to Ukraine with pressure from the US establishment given recent scandal with Michael Flynn. As a result Trump has to deliberately obfuscate his opponents.

      Source

      Whew…tough job to be in.

  • magaforever

In crimea live ethnic russians who voted to come back..none of americas hypocrite business..unless of course trump gives hawaii back its independence from before america invaded and stole it.. If trump wants be anti world police then this is the perfect chance.

  • susan

When I listen to your Russian accent, I have to smile.
I think you said once that satan’s kingdom will be divided. I love how you drew the distinctions between fascism and communism, the social democrats and the national democrats. Both evil non-Christian ideologies yet fighting against one another…to destroy one another…while urging Christians to choose a side…even forcing the issue to prove one’s loyalty to one side or the other…until one side upon finally winning…will turn and slaughter the Christians. It’s not difficult to imagine how this will keep unfolding…using Theo-logic.

      • susan

I’m not sure I’m following you. Did you post to the wrong comment?

  • Lidia

Great video Ted! You are right, the war continues between Fascism and Communism; and there is no difference between Left wing (Democrats) and Right wing (Republicans), the policies are the same. I was hoping that Donald Trump was going to fool them all. We will see. I’m still giving him time. President Trump did say he wanted to make peace with Russia and now someone is making him change his mind. I thought he wasn’t going to listen to the “lobbyists” or special interest groups or even the “establishment.” I thought he was going to do the right thing for the American people.
Since you are talking about Fascism and Communism, what group would Russia fall under? I know you said that there are some Russians who are turning towards paganism and Fascism and maybe even Communism. Do you think there is a third and new group forming, coming from Russia, that is counteracting both Fascism and Communism? Could this group be connected to the church? Since Russia did help fight ISIS and other terrorist groups and saved Aleppo, could this be a sign?

What do you think about the “shadow government” in the U.S.? Here is the video from Fox and Friends with Judge Napolitano talking about Flynn’s resignation. He is talking about professional spies who are undermining the presidency of Donald Trump. Professional spies in the intelligence community who can turn on and off information to the President–“who can decide what to give to him and what to keep from him, who can decide what to reveal to him and what to keep secret.” “a shadow government to control and frustrate the President.” “The best stealers of secrets, keeper of secrets, and leakers of secrets on the WHOLE PLANET.”

    http://video.foxnews.com/v/5325357624001/?#sp=show-clips

In case the video didn’t go through, the title of this video is, “Judge Napolitano: Intel community trying to undermine Trump.”

Ted, when I buy your book, will you sign it for me?

    • Juan

The power in the shadow is undermining Trump’s presidency as Michael Flynn’s resignation shows. Somebody wants the U.S. confronting Russia, instead cooperating with it because it would be a start for Christian Unity or at least a Christian geopolitics. Who benefits?

      • PaulF

Exactly. Why are so many getting into a sudden flutter about Russia, and why is no one ridiculing them for forgetting that the Cold War is long over?
It’s sinister, and Trump should stop apologizing and do what his instinct rightly tells him: treat Russia as an ally.

  • Lidia

I hope it doesn’t go the “JFK” way. I’m sorry, what do you mean by Worm Wood is whispering in his ear? Are you talking about some kind of apocalypse?

It’s not just Russia being the new ‘Christian Crusader’, it’s GOOD vs. EVIL. It involves the whole world. Tradcatknight put out a very interesting article in the past week. I can’t believe how evil some people can be, it’s sickening.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

The devil uses discouragement and betrayals to weary us when we do good. And it is the wounds of a friend that hurt us the most.

Hey guys this is what Russia thinks….. enjoy the vid.

Mr Trump’s statements contradicts comments he made in an interview with ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos last year, when he said: “The people of Crimea, from what I’ve heard, would rather be with Russia than where they were.”
Trumps going to have to walk this one back or have someone ok his tweets before he tweets .

It seems the same, yes. Anyway Trump in under the pressure (a very strong one) of occult powers that control the U.S. as general Flynn resignation show.
The Nazis and antinomian sects of Judaism want more human sacrifices and no friendship between the West and the East. These bastards have a lot of power. They are trying to destroy conservative candidate Francois Fillon in France because he isn’t a freemason, he is Russophile and he would assure the EU don’t dissapearing and collaborating with Russia. They prefer Le Pen, the EU dissapearing and Germany creating it’s own Geopolitical space in East Europe in collaboration with Ukrainian, Polish Nazis and Baltic Nazis.
It will take time and a very hard work to change the inner power in the U.S.

    Ukraine unhappy.

California wants to secede. Some say they should join Canada which would require Oregon and Washington to join them. Parts of CA wouldn’t cooperate; there are 2 movements besides the secessionists, one wanting to split into 5 states the other for Northern CA to become the state of Jefferson.
