Bashar Assad is Unlikely to Have Deliberately Attacked Civilians with Nerve Gas

Posted by Keith Davies

Shoebat.com was the first to report that the first gas attack in Syria back in 2013 was done by the Islamist rebels. Our findings were confirmed three weeks later by Yosef Bodansky a conservative security expert and seconded by Seymor Hersh a left wing Jouranlist nearly six months later.

Below is a video done by a Syrian apologist which is a more plausible explanation than anything we have seen on USA TV news and corresponds more what we have uncovered in our investigations in the past. He uses evidence and logic what might be the real truth on this Chemical/Gas attack. While we cannot confirm exactly what happened the US news media has provided no concrete evidence on who possessed the gas and was there any deliberate intent to bomb the Chemical weapon storage facility.

Remember ISIS and the rebels are on the run and close to defeat. Whether you sympathize with this situation or not it makes no sense why Assad would deliberatly use weapons of mass destruction and target innocent children. Assad is also a master propagandist, so it makes no political or military sense to deliberatly use these weapons or even target gas factories, however it makes perfect sense for the rebels to have the gas factory destroyed and have as many innocents killed while trying to blame Assad. They need US military intervention to help them oust Assad as currently they are on their last legs.

We are no personal fan of either Assad or the Islamists but from a purely practical and politcial assessment Assad will bring stability to Syria, protect the Christian minority and keep the islamists at bay. It is a totally foolish policy to support Islamist rebels which is the official current policy of the US government

I dread the hell that our nation is going to have to pay for all this ignorant arrogant foreign policy..not to mention the infanticide of 58 million.. Its going to be very very bad

I agree, did anyone notice that the videos of the people were the typical staged kind that hamas and the islamist use for propaganda.

    Shame on U.S. and NATO.

He was aided by a number of Republicans–McConnell, McCain, Ryan, Boehner, Snowe, ad nauseum. The Republican majority in Congress approved funding for the Syrian “moderates” and the CIA helped train and arm them. So, both sides of the aisle are guilty of these horrible crimes! And Paul Ryan was adamant about funding the resettlement of >50000 Muslims into the US!

    You are right, Keith!

“A REVOLUTION is usually done by the PEOPLE, not by importing FOREIGNERS to REBEL against the PEOPLE.”

It was already shown that NATO/U.S. forces have smuggled weapons, chemical or otherwise, into the region via Turkey, has it not?

I said this attack made no sense and I just now listened to Sect. Of State say they are gathering a coalition to unseat Assad. Stupid!!!
Considering the politics and fatalistic religious beliefs in that area Iran and Turkey are rubbing their hands together in anticipation. Looks like a great deal of bloodshed is about to occur.

    • As Theo always said, in the U.S. political parties change but foreign policy doesn’t.

      Thank you for this link!

I’d like to see evidence when possible, but I must admit this makes more sense than Assad using gas. Also, the MSM so often takes positions favorable to Islamists: MSM lies make it difficult to know what is really happening..

  • Grace Ziem

Doesn’t prove it was Assad at all.

Go back to reading your Bible…

Create a tragic event to play on peoples emotion to justify taking down Assad and replacing him with a puppet for Erdogan. What else will unfold before 16 April 2017 ?Maybe Iran will have a nuke by then.

Even IF, Assad regime poisoned these rebels, he is still keeping stability for his country. People who are not sunni muslims, hell bent on spreading islam through violence, have no idea what it is like for a leader like Assad, who doesn’t want the violence in his land. He knows the extremes of these rebels, and strikes before they can gain strength. The rebel children are nothing more than pawns to their parents who live for the caliphate. I do not fault Assad, he is doing what is necessary to protect all those under his authority. And at least he ”protects”. The same cannot be said of the sunnis. Trump doesn’t see this, neither do most ignorant, infidel people. They think that islamists are equal to Christianity. They think that islamists think like them….they do not. They think islamists want for their children what they want for their children, they do not. They value death, not life. We have a president who has no understanding of these matters.

I have a suggestion, how about all you people that think this is a false flag and didnt happen get yourselves a ticket and go there personally and find out instead of thinking you know for sure it didnt happen, because if it infact did happen and it doesnt affect you,go kill yourself because your heart is already dead

  • Dan

Walid, are you in contact with Washington on this and they’re not listening ?

  • “The people” who want him out are Islamists Andrew.
