Scotland has become the first nation in the world to officially teach “LGBT issues” in public schools as a part of the curriculum according to a report:
Scotland will become the first country in the world to teach LGBT+ issues in school lessons, Deputy First Minister John Swinney announced on Thursday.
The government has accepted all 33 recommendations included in a report by the LGBTI Inclusive Education working group, which encompasses several education-focused bodies and LGBT+ rights organisations, commissioned with the aim of addressing anti-LGBT bullying in schools and creating a more LGBT-friendly educational curriculum and social environment.
The recommendations included the addition of LGBT+ topics across various subjects, a free training programme aimed at teachers, and establishing a series of LGBT-themed outcomes in statutory guidance to public schools.
The themes taught during these school lessons will include LGBT+ terminology and identities, tackling homophobia, biphobia, transphobia and prejudice in relation to the LGBT+ community, and promoting awareness of the history of LGBTI equalities and movements.
Scotland leads Push for LGBT+ Inclusive school education
A number of countries, including Wales and the Republic of Ireland, have recently been looking into integrating LGBT+ issues into school lessons to teach the next generation. In the UK, where the government is currently looking into updating the sex education curriculum to make it inclusive of LGBT+ issues and relationships, some schools are already teaching LGBT-inclusive classes.Swinney said that the adoption of the working group’s recommendations will make Scotland “the first country in the world” to have LGBT+ inclusive education embedded within its curriculum.

The deputy first minister added: “Our education system must support everyone to reach their full potential. That is why it is vital the curriculum is as diverse as the young people who learn in our schools.“The recommendations I have accepted will not only improve the learning experience of our LGBTI young people, they will also support all learners to celebrate their differences, promote understanding and encourage inclusion.”
LGBT+ campaigners welcome “much needed” decision
LGBT+ education campaigners have welcomed the Scottish government’s decision.“The implementation of LGBTI inclusive education across all state schools is a world first, and in a time of global uncertainty, this sends a strong and clear message to LGBTI young people that they are valued here in Scotland,” Jordan Daly, Time for Inclusive Education (TIE) campaign co-founder, said in a statement.
“Education is one of the most vital tools we have to tackle bullying, prejudice and discrimination—and it shapes the fabric of our society. We now look forward to continuing our work with the Scottish Government as we progress towards full implementation,” Daly added.
Stonewall Scotland director Colin Macfarlane said: ‘’Today’s announcement is a testament to the hard work of young people, teachers, parents and campaigners from across Scotland’s LGBT organisations who have been calling for these much needed proposals for years. Scotland has a history of vitriolic hatred against the Catholic Church in the name of “nationalism” and “patriotism” going back to the days of the reformation. The Orange Order, a Protestant “patriotic” group in Scotland, still partakes in attacks against Catholics which are so bad that even the growing Muslim minority in Scotland comprised of immigrants and the descendants of immigrants have criticized the Scottish anti-Catholic attitudes so endemic within the society.
Religion as a whole in Scotland continues to decline, with only 7.2% of persons attending Church. One of the ironies of this is that the Catholic Church, which comprises about 15% of Scotland and excluding immigrants from Europe or other parts of the world, is largely “native” in the Hebrides, a rural part of the country where many Catholics fled and his away from the Protestants for centuries due to their legal status that veritably made them citizens without rights, Church attendance has declined but stands at 19%.
Birth rates throughout all of Europe and the UK are low, but within the UK, Scotland has the lowest fertility rate and it continues to decline. People do not believe in God, they do not have children, and they have a love of nationalistic pride and a vitriolic hatred for the Catholic Faith.
Scotland is a dying nation. There is no other way to say it.
Now, in the middle of all of these troubles, the nation insists on leading the world in promoting the very sin which cries out to Heaven for vengeance, and which God destroyed Sodom, Gomorrah, and the other cities on the plain for.
Is it any surprise that Islam is rising in Scotland and the UK in general, and the all of Europe is heading towards a world war?
God will not be mocked. He is very patient and very merciful, because man is truly is desperate need of God’s mercy and sometimes takes a very long time to get himself right with God. This is part of the consequences of sin. While embracing the truth in its objective sense in important, one must remember that as St. Thomas Aquinas says, man is a tabula rasa upon which his knowledge, experiences, and associations shape his world, and because of this that one must show patience, and that a true evolution in the spiritual sense- the growth of the soul towards God with time in a noted manner -matters greatly because it demonstrates a will to know God and to serve Him as He wishes to be served.
But that is not what is happening or has been happening in Scotland and many other nations of Europe for a long time. There is apathy and even contempt for God, and a complete lack of desire to know or do what is right, or to struggle in even small ways towards a larger end. It is not just the embrace of paganism, but an embrace without a desire to seek to do what is right.
If Jesus warned that it is better a millstone should be around the necks of those who would pervert the morals of small children, what more is there to say about this situation, when it is the official policy in schools now?
