IDF Chief Of Staff Admits That Israel Helped Commit Genocide Against Christians In Syria By Giving Weapons To Islamic Terrorists

Israel and her supporters frequently clamor that Israel is the victim of terrorism, and is the reason why she needs more welfare in the form of cash payments and weapons supplies from the US. While there is true terrorism that happens in Israel, she also has been identified as a supporter of terrorism to advance her own economic and political agenda. This has been confirmed by the IDF Chief-of-Staff, who has publicly admitted that Israel has been funding terrorism for years, including directly funding the “Syrian rebels” of ISIS and other Islamic terrorist groups that have slaughtered Christians:

The outgoing IDF chief of staff has spilled the beans on a poorly guarded secret of the Israeli military, that it has supplied Syrian rebels fighting President Bashar Assad’s government with weapons “for self-defense.”

Gadi Eisenkot, who was the Israeli Defense Forces’ Chief of Staff for the last three years, told the Sunday Times in a farewell interview that Israel had been directly involved in the Syrian conflict on the side of the Syrian rebels, something that Tel Aviv has been reluctant to acknowledge before.

The general, who is retiring from military service, said that Israel supplied rebels at the border with light weapons for the purposes of “self-defense.”

While the direct links between Syrian rebels and Israeli commanders have been officially revealed for the first time, rumors of close military ties between the armed militants and the Israeli government have been circulating for years.

Foreign Policy magazine reported in September that Israel supplied weapons and gave money to at least 12 rebel groups holed up in southern Syria. The arrangement reportedly included Israeli officials also giving $75-per-person monthly allowances to rebel fighters, in addition to the funds their leaders received to procure weapons on the black market

In return, rebels were expected to deter Hezbollah and Iran proxies from the Israeli-occupied part of the Golan Heights.

The scheme was reportedly in effect throughout Operation Good Neighbor, which officially kicked off in June 2016 and was wrapped up only last November. Within this undertaking, Israel was openly assisting the rebels but claimed that assistance was strictly humanitarian. Israel treated wounded Syrian rebels and their families in its hospitals, provided some 1,524 tons of food, 250 tons of clothes, 947,520 liters of fuel, as well as a huge amount of medical supplies.

However, until recently Israel kept vigorously denying any involvement beyond that. The Jerusalem Post’s report in September on the IDF confirming that it had provided light weapons to Syrian rebels was promptly pulled from its website. The newspaper told RT at the time that it was forced to remove the article by the army’s censor, apparently, “for security reasons.”

In November, Maj. Gen. Gershon Hacohen, a former senior commander with the IDF, revealed that former Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon had personally met with a group of Syrian rebels, without specifying the time period. Ya’alon was Israel’s chief of defense from 2013 to May 2016.

The Israeli military seems to have finally begun to reveal the scope of its involvement in the Syrian conflict, previously shrouded in secrecy. In an interview with the New York Times, Eisenkot acknowledged that Israel has been waging a large-scale bombing campaign aimed at degrading Iran’s military influence in the region. In 2018 alone, the IDF dropped 2,000 bombs on alleged Iran-linked targets in Syria. Sorties into the neighboring country’s territory became“near-daily events” after PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s government greenlighted the expansion of the operation in January 2017, according to the retiring general. The evidence has been clear for years that the US and Israel were funding Islamic terrorists in Syria and throughout the Middle East. This is part of a long-term strategy that while having its roots in the Great Game of the 19th century has its modern roots in the post-world War II cold war covert operations. The US set up “stay behind” terrorist groups along with the Europeans and Israel to form a “hedge” against the Soviets,” a program that began with the inception of the CIA and was called Gladio and for what is known based on past history and current events continues today.

Many American Christians, especially Evangelical Christians, incessantly clamor that Israel is “our biggest ally” in the Middle East. If this was so, then one must naturally ask the question, why is she providing weapons to the very terrorists that committed genocide against the Christians Syria, who also naturally crossed into Iraq? Does a friend give weapons to a man’s enemy and then stand back idly as that enemy kills the man? Indeed, it is something to think about carefully.

It is good that many people want to support the many honest and genuine people who live in Israel, and that one wants to seek the best for them. Truly, to seek the objective good of another is a fundamental of Christian charity. However, one must not allow one’s support for a particular political entity blind oneself to uncomfortable realities, which for the sake of justice must be addressed.

The US and Israel, along with many European allies, share equal guilt in the genocide of Christians in the Middle East for political gain in the build-up to a third world war by either direct action or inaction in seeking to benefit from the conflict. Many have either admitted their actions or have been directly caught in them. What makes this particular case so interesting is that a major figure in the IDF is confirming from the words of his own mouth that which many have suspected and been able to deduce based on evidence for a long time.

One also should not expect this pattern to cease either. The US has been supporting Muslim causes and groups against Christians since the inception of her history, beginning with her international treaty, signed in 1776 with the Moroccans, through her support of the Ottoman Empire including the massacres leading up to and including the Armenian Genocide and beyond.

Many American Christians will speak of the frequent “blessings” which God gave Israel. While this is true, much of the Old Testament is spent on the prophets excoriating the Hebrews and later, the Jews for having the form of righteousness by no righteousness within them. This likewise has continued with the New Testament and extends to the entire world, where God came to man as a baby to announce mercy, and will return with the Second Coming as an adult with fire, ready to judge the world for her sins.

The righteousness of a man, and of a nation, is not from her wealth or power, but from her actions and obedience to God.

It is good to pray for nations, and to seek the best for them. Nations have interests and conflict with each other, but one must not substitute power for principles lest one fail to heed the lessons of the prophets of old and just as Israel would then suffer, to experience the same fate as in the past, for God does not change.
