A massive meteor is set to pass very close to Earth in 2029 according to a report:
It may be 10 years away, but NASA is already preparing for the arrival of what is being called the “God of Chaos” asteroid, which is slated to skim past the earth in 10 years, according to Express. The asteroid has been named 99942 Apophis.
The asteroid is gargantuan, measuring 340 meters across, and will come within 19,000 miles of the earth’s surface. It’s one of the largest asteroids to ever pass so close to the earth and a collision with it could be “devastating for all life on earth”. No word on whether or not it’ll wipe out all student debt, however.
The asteroid will even get closer to the earth than most communication and weather satellites that are currently in orbit. These satellites are about 22,236 miles from earth.
Meanwhile, the asteroid is traveling at about 25,000 mph, meaning that if it were to be slightly jarred off of its course, it could be a catastrophe for the earth. The asteroid’s size and its proximity to the earth have resulted in it being categorized as a “Potentially Hazardous Asteroid” (PHA). NASA scientists are aware that the asteroid’s trajectory could change between now and 2029, raising potential fears of a collision.
Should it not collide with earth, it’s expected to shine “exceptionally bright” and pick up speed as it passes our planet. It’s moving so fast that it will cross the width of the moon in a minute and will be as brightly lit as the stars.
Some researchers say that the rock is not a concern, however, and that there is just a 1 in 100,000 chance that it strikes the earth. Regardless, NASA has started studying it as it flies past our planet and has insisted it would be a great opportunity to learn about similar asteroids.
Radar NASA scientist Marina Brozovic said: “The Apophis close approach in 2029 will be an incredible opportunity for science.”
Astronomer Davide Farnocchia added:
“We already know that the close encounter with Earth will change Apophis’ orbit. But our models also show the close approach could change the way this asteroid spins and it is possible that there will be some surfaces changes, like small avalanches.”
The asteroid is predicted to first be visible over the southern hemisphere, shooting across the East Coast to the West Coast of Australia. From there, it’ll make its way around the world, crossing the Indian Ocean on its way to the United States. The closest it’ll get will be over the Atlantic Ocean during the evening in the United States. The asteroid is predicted to cross the ocean in an hour and then continue to fly off into space.
Paul Chodas, director of CNEOS concluded: “Apophis is a representative of about 2,000 currently known Potentially Hazardous Asteroids. By observing Apophis during its 2029 flyby, we will gain important scientific knowledge that could one day be used for planetary defense.” (source, source+)
Now normally a report such as this would not attract my attention. Big rocks always fly by in space, some closer to Earth than others, and carry potential danger. But there were four things about this story that caught my eye that, if you have been a regular Shoebat.com reader, you might pick up on too.
First, is the relationship of this year, 2029, with the Fatima prophecies.
According to the Fatima timeline, there are three major years associated with it. The first is the year the revelations happened, which was in 1917. The second was on June 13th, 1929, when the Blessed Virgin told St. Lucia dos Santos that God wanted the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The third is August 1931, when the Blessed Virgin warned that if Russia was not consecrated to her Immaculate Heart, that the minsters of the Church would “follow the error of the Kings of France into misfortune,” which refers to the request of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque that the nation of France would be consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This did not happen, and it was exactly one hundred years later on June 17th, 1789 that the National Assembly passed the Tennis Court Oath that stripped the French King of his power and began the French Revolution.
People who follow Fatima are divided on these two dates, as the first already has come to pass.
What makes this particularly acute is how the prophecy of Our Lady of Akita, which is reported by those who have seen the full text of the Third Secret of Fatima to be of the same nature, speaks of fire falling from Heaven and annihilating a great part of the human race. Indeed, “fire falling from Heaven” could be either a natural or a man-made event. Comets are known for their ability to do tremendous damage, and it is something to be very concerned about, and the threat of nuclear war in modern times is real and could happen, as man is not known for being able to self-regulate his use of weapons made in the name of “defense.”
Second, and equally telling as well as is related to the previous point, is that archaeologists confirmed last year that the annihilation of sodom and her sister cities on the plains of Middle Ghor was caused by a comet exploding at low altitude with the force of a ten megaton atomic bomb. This “comet,” as the story notes, is said to pass dangerously close to earth in 2029, the same year that some view in the Fatima prophecies as associated with fire falling from Heaven.
Third, is that the world today has never been more entrenched than it is now in a love and practice, regardless of where one is or what one does, in the sin of Sodom. The nature of the sin itself has not changed- that is to say, it is not necessarily more evil than it was before -but that the sin is now more widespread with greater intensity in a shorter amount of time. The cities on the plain was just one small strip of land, while today there is not a single place in the world that has not been affected by the LGBT, a sin which still “cries out to Heaven for vengeance” and still retains the potency it always has possessed.
Fourth, is that the name of this asteroid is “apophis,” which is the Greek name for the Egyptian serpent god of death and chaos who is diametrically opposed to Ra, the sun god and god of all that is good.
Now there is no “sun god,” but Christ is the true son and sun- the “sun” that bring the light of truth, holiness, and righteousness to the world, and the Son in that He is the Son of God.
The devil is referred to in the Old Testament as a “serpent.” It is absolutely not god at all, but tries to imitate and mock god, is more powerful than men, and is a personal force of evil that destroys.
There are too many things concerning this asteroid that one cannot ignore.
God is very patient and loving, but the Bible makes clear that He will NOT be mocked, and He is never late, but perfect in his timing for bestowing mercy and giving out due justice.
To paraphrase the wise counsel of Jesus as given in the New Testament, ‘don’t be caught unprepared.’
