Muslims are often laughed at for questionable behavior practices related to Islam. Hindu nationalists love to point this out, but they also do similar and sometimes stranger things. According to a recent story from Deutsche Welle, Hindu nationalists are telling their followers and organizing large events to drink cow urine and bathe in cow feces to cure the COVID-19 coronavirus.
The chief of the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha (All India Hindu Union) group hosted a cow urine-drinking event on Saturday in New Delhi, hoping that the practice staves off the coronavirus.
Many Hindus consider the cow to be sacred. Some leaders from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Hindu nationalist party have advocated cow urine or cow dung for its “medicinal” properties.
“We have been drinking cow urine for 21 years, we also take a bath in cow dung. We have never felt the need to consume English medicine,” said Om Prakash, one of the party attendees.
Suman Harpriya, a legislator in the northeastern state of Assam, told state lawmakers during an assembly session on March 2 that cow urine and cow dung could be used to treat COVID-19. (source)
This is not about just “laughing at Hindus”.
It is pointing out the blatant hypocrisy of them.
They and many others will criticize Muslims, but they will not criticize themselves or other groups when it is not believed to be politically expedient, or because one actually believes in the same things but one thinks that one is better than the ones he is criticizing.
It is true that no man is free of hypocrisy, but all must strive to be constant in principle.
One cannot criticize the Muslims for something so blatant but then to avoid the Hindu nationalists, who are open supporters of National Socialism, and will commit genocide against Muslim and Christian alike in India.
