Covid-19 Spikes, Millions Of Olive Trees Infected With Disease, Unrest In The Cities … Are We Spiraling Downwards Ready For Judgments?

By Walid Shoebat (Shoebat Tuesday Special)

Let me explain the food supply chain in a nutshell. Worldwide, large quantities of food are produced every year: approx. 700 million tons of wheat; 950 of corn; 500 of rice; 950 of vegetables; 800 of fruit and then another 410-430 million tons of meat and fish. All this food (in total approx. 4.5 billion tons) is normally sufficient to feed the approx. 7.46 Billion men and women who populate the Earth.

To disrupt the food supply is not far fetched. We have had disruptions in recent history; the horned rye poisoning, the rust of coffee on the island of Sri Lanka which, according to some, led the British to drink tea instead of coffee; late blight of the potato, the queen of epidemics, which caused one million deaths in Ireland in the mid-1800s and forced 1.5 million people to emigrate; rice helminthosporiosis in Bengal (1942) which caused the death by starvation of two million people and then numerous others up to the most recent one: Xylella on olive trees.

Today processionary caterpillars in Italy, Spain, France, Greece are once again upon us that brings a plague of mass proportion.

This caterpillar spread Xylella fastidiosa which is perhaps the greatest threat to Mediterranean agriculture, it is a bacterium that affects multiple plant species such as almond trees, olive, rosemary, vines and oleanders, among others. In Italy, the consequences of the spread of the disease have been devastating, with an estimated 60% decline in crop yields since the first discovery in 2013 and the disease is still growing.

Among all the plant diseases that stand out for the evil actions committed by man is what we read in the Bible (Amos 4: 9)

“I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.” (Amos 4:9)

The Palmerworm (Hebrew: Gazam) is more probably a caterpillar. (see Smith’s Bible Dictionary 1901.)

And with the Covid-19 combo, we hear of more stories that we read in the Bible which tells us in several prophecies that wild animals will finally creep into the empty cities “they [cities] shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid …” “the owls will dwell there, and wild goats will leap about” (Isaiah 13:21) “The desert owl and screech owl will possess it, and the great owl and raven will dwell in it” (Isaiah 34:11).

And why does God judge the earth with such plagues? There are many examples. For one, the rise of homosexuality. In the Bible it states: “They parade their sin like Sodom does, and they do not even try to hide it” (Isaiah 3:8).

This mega whore city emulates Sodom. Obviously then, this is not the original Sodom but are His people now behaving “like Sodom does”. It is a behavioral issue.

So where is this Sodom? In God’s mind, there are two types of cities; a City that is of God (His Bride) and a city that is a Harlot (Satan’s).

I came to the conclusion that God sees all evil cities as one city where He has one particular headquarters in mind. He calls all the rulers (plural) of the LGBT friendly nations as “you rulers (plural) of Sodom” (read Isaiah 3). John lumps up this conglomerate city:

Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.” (Revelation 16:18-19)

Come out of her, my people, so that you will not participate in her sins and receive of her plagues” (Revelation 18:4)

God divides this one allegoric city into three sections and He addresses this division as “the cities of the nations fell”. These are the “cities of the nations” and not just one city. These are laden with “sins” and is why they receive “plagues”.

We are quickly spiraling downwards. What is happening these days in cities in just few months should be a wake up call.

I read stories “RODENTS on the rampage in cities, cockroaches and flies on the uptick … ” “COVID-19 is bringing pestilence to our doorstep and turning the natural world upside down”. And we read the strangest of headlines:

“Life in times of PLAGUE: Pests wreak havoc in Spain during COVID-19 outbreak” – Olive Press News Spain
6/23/20

“Whoever thought there would come a time when we’d see peacocks strutting in the streets downtown Barcelona.
As people around the globe change their daily behaviour to slow the spread of COVID-19 …  the effect throughout the ecosystems of the world.”

“WIDESPREAD: Cockroaches together with rodents and bedbugs are the most…”

“They are the natural predators of the Chinese chestnut wasp which has been wreaking havoc … ”

“Torymus sinensis wasps are the natural predators of the …”

“destruction of the chestnut crops behind Marbella’s La Concha mountain.”

“Subsequently, numerous other outbreaks have been recorded in the Balearics while in June on the Iberian Peninsula, specifically in almond plantations in the Alicante town of Guadales”.

And it is not only Covid-19 and a racialist plague infecting our cities where monuments and landmarks are being taken down by the roaring mobs. The plague of trees spreading presence was reported in olive groves of Villarejo, Madrid and is spreading in Spain, Italy and Greece even France and Germany. And it is not only one threat to trees; the lethal red palm weevil (Rhynchophorus ferrugineus), first hit the Granada coastal towns of Motril and Almuñecar causing astronomical damage to palm trees as it spread along the coast, running up ‘billions of euro rampage’.

Controlling coronavirus and harmful pests on a global scale have many similarities; both diseases has no cure and are not stopping for people’s wishes; the world of entertainment, nightlife, eating out, and trips to Las Vegas has come to an end.

Few pay attention to what God says about metropolitanism and city life.

For example: many ask me about Isaiah 17 and the destruction of Damascus. These read the scripture haphazardly while they skip crucial pieces where Isaiah 17 is not only speaking on the destruction of Damascus but also the elevation of the Syrian refugees and Syria’s governors and the punishment of the Jewish people.

This stands in stark contradiction to the wishes of many who misinterpret the scriptures.  It is not only Damascus, many of the cities will become empty and animals will flock in them as they are deserted. Many are the verses that actually say the reverse of what these glean. Many only read the first verse “the destruction of Damascus” and conclude the end of Bashar al-Assad. Pay close attention to verse 2:

“The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid.” (v.2)

“The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the Lord of hosts.”

“And in that day it shall come to pass, that the glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean.” (v.4)

“Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree, two or three berries in the top of the uppermost bough, four or five in the outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith the Lord God of Israel.” (v.6)

How does Israel glory and Jacob wanes? We must separate the two: one is the Israel of God who are uplifted while Jacob (the Jewish people) diminish in strength. The remnant refugees of Syria are elevated. Many cites are destroyed and become a habitation of animals.

And for how long shall we cry in the wilderness, prepare to leave city life and head far away from any major city:

“In that day shall his strong cities be as a forsaken bough, and an uppermost branch, which they left because of the children of Israel: and there shall be desolation.” (v.9)

And what about the riots and the rebels who destroy stores and landmarks? They happen in cities.

The response to the ANTIFA types will not be what many desire for many in the right have also become extremists. Soon you will see Isaiah 19 become a reality where “neighbor fights against neighbor,” “city against city” and “kingdom against kingdom”.

City life will get hit hardest, not only from plagues and lack of food supplies, but from the worst type of virus: human rebellion.

You hate your police, now try to live without them.

The U.S. has done well in surpassing any other nation with the highest rise in Covid-19.

U.S. flying off the chart in Covid-19 cases

The U.S. leads the world in number of cases of COVID-19 at more than 2.3 million and has the highest death toll in the world at more than 120,000 and rising. And this latest spike is not the “second wave”, we’re still in the first wave, the second and third waves will be much more devastating. In other words, what you have seen so far you have seen nothing.

“You forgotten God your Savior, you have not remembered your Rock [Christ] your fortress. Therefore, though you set out the finest plants and plant imported vines, though on that day you set them out, you make them grow and on the morning when you plant them, you bring them to bud, yet the harvest will be as nothing in the day of disease and incurable pain“. (Isaiah 17:10-11)

What is coming are incurable diseases.

Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities …” (Revelation 18:4-5)

Infections of man and plant has become a gigantic concern. Just read the news:

Countries around the world scramble to contain coronavirus flare-ups as U.S. states remain open

BERLIN — In nations around the world that saw new coronavirus infections decline in recent weeks, spikes in confirmed cases have alarmed officials and sent Australia, Germany, Portugal and South Korea, among other countries, scrambling to respond to resurgent outbreaks. The new flare-ups are mostly rooted in identifiable regions, where officials launched or expanded aggressive containment efforts this week. German authorities said Tuesday they would impose a new regional lockdown in a district of the country’s northwest to contain an outbreak linked to a meat-processing plant, after more than 1,500 workers were infected. Portugal cracked down on mass gatherings. Australia’s Victoria state reshuttered several schools. An area in the northeast of Spain reintroduced restrictions. Even New Zealand, which has just 10 confirmed, active cases, tightened border measures as an increasing number of citizens abroad began to fly home. The swell of responses to new outbreaks around the world stood in stark contrast to the U.S. approach. With cases on the rise in nearly half of states, and with Arizona, Florida and Texas recording record new case numbers in recent days, states have continued to reopen, and the White House has continued to signal its desire for a return to normal.

Before Covid-19 arrived the olive farmers of Adriatica were already suffering. In 2015 the Xylella fastidiosa bacteria appeared in the olive groves in Apulia, in the heel of the boot of Italy. Hundred-year-old olive trees would turn black and die. Plant scientists discovered that the olive quick decline syndrome (OQDS) was caused by a bacteria that had originated in the Americas. Like Covid-19 there is as yet no known cure for OQDS and it has spread to Corsica, Spain and France. The EU has declared OQDS the most serious threat that European agriculture faces. OQDS and Covid-19 means a double whammy for Arcadia’s economy. (WHANGANUI CHRONICLE)

And there is more to come. One of the most respected epidemiologist, Dr. Michael Osterholm, director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP) at the University of Minnesota who predicted the coming of Covid-19 warns of another threat, the mosquito Aedes aegypti that has rapidly travelled into major cities:

“intuitive decisions made centuries ago, a number of the world’s cities were located [where] people didn’t experience yellow fever or malaria. Why? Because the elevations were too high for mosquito populations to grow, based on temperature. Today, we’re seeing mosquito populations move not just north and south, but also [to higher] elevations, and some of these cities, like Mexico City, are now reporting Aedes aegypti populations [carriers of Zika, yellow fever, dengue and chikungunya], when they had been basically free of these vector-borne diseases until now.”

So buy your mosquito suits ahead of time.

The world is ill prepared. Venezuela for example, in 1964 beat the U.S. in being the first nation to eliminate Malaria and today it is plagued with it and has spread to repeat the times back when Malaria was a main concern. Osterholm explains:

Metropolitanism is the problem. It corrupts.

Most who read their Bibles skip much. When God decided to stop Babel, it was because one of the things they said “come let us build a city and a tower” (Genesis 11:4).

As Christianity diminishes, few will realize that the idea of city life was never in God’s plan and move far away.  History repeats and these ancient verses become prophetic, again:

“And the Lord said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes. ” (Genesis 18:26)

“and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God …” (Revelation 16:19)

Yes, on all the happy homes in the joyous city; Because the palaces will be forsaken,The bustling city will be deserted. The forts and towers will become lairs forever, A joy of wild donkeys, a pasture of flocks— (Isaiah 32:13-14)

Cities and high rises and Trump Towers will all be gone. God even tells us why He in the end stops Satan:

“Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.” (Isaiah 14:21)

God intervenes to stop the expansion of cities “fill the face of the world with cities” and as it seems, the process has already begun.
