In testimony before the House Judiciary Committee, Attorney General Eric Holder was pressed about why the case against ex-CIA Director David Petraeus is still under investigation. Indications are that members of Congress are concerned that the case is still hanging in limbo to prevent Petraeus from revealing what he knows about the Benghazi attacks.

If, as has been relayed by Shoebat.com, the details of an extensive report published in the London Review are correct, Petraeus was the man in charge of the logistics of an operation in Benghazi that involved shipping weapons from Libya to Syria through Turkey and that this operation involved a high level of coordination with Turkish intelligence. The report goes on to say that at least eight members of Congress were informed of this in January of this year, when they received a ‘classified annex’ to the much publicized bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee report on Benghazi.

According to the London Review report, the following members of Congress would have received the classified annex in January and know of the operation: House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH); Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY); House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA); Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV); House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers (R-MI); House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Dutch Ruppersberger (D-MD); Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Dianne Feinstein (D-CA); and Senate Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Saxby Chambliss (R-GA).

If the information attributed by a ‘former intelligence official’ cited in the London Review is correct, it would mean that Rogers and Ruppersberger were armed with this incredibly important information when ex-CIA Deputy Director Michael Morell testified before their committee on April 2nd. Five days prior to that testimony, it was reported that Rogers would not be running for re-election in 2014.

As Shoebat.com has reported, there is significant – borderline overwhelming – evidence that the U.S. was engaged in weapons transfers out of Benghazi at the time of the attacks on 9/11/12.
