Dear Friends of the Walid Shoebat Foundation

We thank you for your letters of support, also the many during the year who have provided us with the financial support for the work we do in educating the USA and the world to the issues which most of our media and the church wish to hide or ignore.

This year Walid has done over 300 media interviews reaching millions more with the truth, one of those interviews was on the BBC World Service which is meant to be listened to by over 180 million people (according to the producer) alone.

We could not do these things without the financial support of people like you.

There is another issue which we are making big efforts to work on which is even less focused on and is definitley not properly addressed by the organizations who say they are there to help. We will not mention them by name but we have tried to gain their attention to make physical rescues of persecuted Christians in Muslim countries. Since these organizations, in our opinion, have not stepped up to the plate we have decided to take this issue head on. Based on the many contacts we have gained in the security industry as well as the “chutzpah” to act, we are actively involved in trying to save Christians who are in imminent danger of being killed or imprisoned for their faith most specifically in Muslim countries.

It is impossible to give you a full description of the work we are doing as it will endanger the people we are trying to help, but the only thing I can say is that the work involves great risks and many brave people are willing to put there own lives on the line.

The cost to save these people is immense, we have been blessed by a few great and righteous donors, we would also appreciate if some of you out there can spare some funds to help us with this endeavor. We also need churches and individuals to open their doors to help these people, some who need medical care. Please help us to restart their lives in this great and free country.

A great monument stands in the harbor of New York called the Statue of Liberty. When it was inaugurated the words of the poetess Emma Lazarus stood true:

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she
with silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

Today in the USA we have opened our doors to many who do not deserve to be here, who have used our generosity to undermine our country, yet we shut the doors of the worthy because of the bureaucracy of our political system and the willingness to pass the problem to the corrupt and crooked UN which totally ignores the issue of Christian persecution. You will not see anything regarding this issue on the UNHCR web site, yet it is probably the greatest refugee issue that is happening in the world today.

Walid and our organization will continue to speak out in 2010 but we will also be trying our best to alleviate some of the suffering of persecuted Christians. I ask you humbly for your help in this endeavor. Donations can be made on our web site and will be transferred to Forum For Middle East Understanding a 501 (3) c registered IRS charity which is a sister organization run by us. You can take a deduction for tax purposes. If you require a receipt we will gladly provide. 100% of the money will be used to help these people and nothing will go for administration costs.

You can also mail checks to FFMU at 2865 S. Eagle Rd, #310, Newtown, PA 18940.

If people would like to send a monthly donation you can also please do that by mail or send us a request to charge your credit card each month along with the necessary details.

We wish you all a happy and prosperous New Year as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Shalom
