One of the more egregious but effective tactics of the Obama administration has been the libelous and slanderous ‘war on women’ label that it applies to its opponents. Yet, one of the women it named as a ‘Champion of Change’ is a Muslim who has a problem with a documentary that spotlights the the real war on women taking place under the banner of Islam.
In addition to having a problem with the ‘Honor Diaries’ – a documentary that exposes misogyny in Islam – Linda Sarsour joined forces with Occupy Wall Street in 2011. Sarsour, who is the director of the Arab American Association of New York publicly expressed solidarity with OWS after CAIR joined the effort.
Last week, Shoebat.com reported on CAIR’s problem with the documentary as well. One night later, a representative from CAIR appeared on the same program and didn’t object to the content of the film but instead the filmmakers.
To her credit, Fox News Channel’s Megyn Kelly continues to draw attention to this issue. In this interview, she confronts the affiliations of Sarsour and other groups that object to the film:
