Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer (Ret) appeared on Fox & Friends to discuss the DHS’ surreal infatuation with ‘rightwing extremism’ as it goes out of its way to avoid even uttering the word, ‘Jihad’. Notice in this exchange that Shaffer singles out CAIR for its ‘unindicted co-conspirator’ status relative to the Holy Land Foundation trial. CAIR isn’t called out too often on Fox.

As an aside, Shaffer basically sacrificed his military career when he blew the whistle on a program called Able Danger, which he says identified 9/11 hijacker Mohammed Atta one year before 9/11. Unfortunately, the program was halted shortly thereafter.
