No matter what happens in this insane asylum we call the Middle East, there will be blood

In every aspect of society, the most necessary thing is human life, and yet it is the thing that is least cared about. We will speak of the sacredness of human life, but in a whim, we will slaughter droves of human beings in the name of some geopolitical benefit. There was suppose to be a ceasefire between Israel and Gaza, and as part of the deal, Israel was suppose to begin the military withdrawal from the Philadelphi corridor (which lies between the border between Gaza and Egypt). But Israel made it very clear that they were not going to leave the corridor, and thus honoring the ceasefire was never in the minds of the Israelis.

Yes, Hamas is a terrorist organization, yes Hamas humiliated Israel when they delivered Israeli corpses back to Israel (which was in accordance to the deal) to the sounds of music, but this does mean that Israel actually had good will towards a ceasefire, because they clearly did not. And then, at around March 17th of 2025 (58 days after the ceasefire began on January 19th) Israel began striking Gaza, and by March 18th, over 400 people were killed and hundreds more were wounded. This is what I warned about in one of my videos, in which I said that no matter what happens with the ceasefire deal, “there will be blood.”

Israel had no intention of peace, and when Trump spoke about purging Gaza of Palestinians, the fanatical desire to expand Jewish settlements into Gaza got the MAGA stamp of approval. Israel ordered thousands of Gazans in the towns and neighborhoods of the Gaza Strip’s perimeter to leave their homes. This is all a sign of this intention, which was made out in the open when the Israeli government announced the establishment of a new office to facilitate the relocation of Gazans. Remember, before the Armenian Genocide was put into full effect, the Ottoman government presented their agenda as one of deportation. In May of 1915, the Young Turks introduced a bill to the Ottoman parliament calling for the deportation of Armenians. The plan got the stamp of approval from the German government. In fact, in February of 1914 (five months before the outbreak of WW1), General Field Marshal Wilhelm Leopold Colmar Freiherr von der Goltz presented a plan to the German-Turkish Society and the Turkish ambassador “to once and for all remove half a million Armenians living in the provinces of Van, Bitlis, and Erzerum, contiguous to the Russo-Turkish borders, and move them from those border areas southward, to the vicinity of Aleppo and Mesopotamia.” When the butchery was happening, the German ambassador to the Ottoman Empire, Hans von Wangenheim, responded to the outcry over the slaughter of the Armenians by saying that he had no right to interfere with Ottoman sovereignty. (See Balakian, Armenian Golgotha, pp. 79, 89,  trans. Peter Balakian).  Just as the Ottomans got the German stamp of approval, the Israelis are getting their stamp of approval from the Americans. The parallel between what the Ottomans and what the hardliners in Israel want to do was touched upon by Benny Morris, the prominent historian on the Arab-Israeli conflict. In an article published by Haaretz, Morris writes that a genocide of the Palestinians is pretty much inevitable and will perhaps  be “a combination of expulsion (ethnic cleansing) and mass murder, as the Turks did to the Christian communities in Asia Minor between 1894-1924.”

What Israel has been doing is all a foreshadowing sign of ethnic cleansing, or worse, genocide. The hardliners of Israel speak of simply relocating Gazans. But what if they don’t leave? Killing will be the solution they will happily choose, as they have clearly demonstrated. The mass killing of hundreds of people that Israel did, explicitly showing their disregard for the ceasefire, has left behind horrifying carnage. “Dismembered bodies are piling up in hospitals once more,” writes Israeli journalist Ben Reiff, “with medical staff across the Strip warning that their facilities are at full capacity.” No matter what diplomatic gestures are made, there will be blood in this part of the insane asylum we call the Middle East. And the Israeli government has made it obvious that they intend to not stop. “Israel will, from now on, act against Hamas with increasing military strength,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said in a statement. “With God’s help,” Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said, “[the renewed assault] will look completely different from what has been done so far.” Israel had and has no interest in completing the ceasefire.

This is why Israel never wanted to enter the second phase of the ceasefire, which was suppose to see the return of the rest of the hostages and a complete military withdrawal out of Gaza, which is something that Israel’s hardliners are not willing to do. The Israeli government, together with Steve Witkoff, pushed to extend the first phase of the ceasefire, which entails the release of hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners. Hamas did not want to prolong phase one and wanted to begin phase two. To quote Ben Reiff:  Israel knew Hamas would reject this proposal, and that was the point all along.” This is like when the Austrians gave Serbia their plan after the assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand: Austria must control Serbia. They gave them a plan that they knew Serbia would reject. And when Serbia rejected the plan, Austria destroyed Serbia, slaughtering hundreds of thousands. Israel wanted to extend phase one, knowing Gaza would reject such an idea. As Reiff explains: The maneuver simply gave the Israeli government a pretext to re-impose a total blockade on food, water, fuel, electricity, and medicine into the Strip; and now, with President Trump’s full backing, to resume its genocidal assault.

The Israelis never had the intention of allowing life to return to normalcy in Gaza. The prevention of mobile homes from being allowed entry into Gaza (a violation of the ceasefire) makes this quite conspicuous. The Americans and Israelis are looking for countries to resettle the Gazans. American and Israeli officials told AP that their governments had approached Sudan, Somalia, and Somaliland about takin Palestinians from Gaza in exchange for financial, diplomatic, and security benefits. But there is a country that the US and Israel have really been eyeing, and that is Syria.

CBS reported that the Trump administration has approached the new Islamist government in Syria through a third-party interlocutor. But Syria is under the control of Turkey. If the Palestinians are pushed into Syria, Turkey could then make itself into the protector of the Palestinian people. Turkey could then become the hero of the Islamic world, which is perfect for the Turks since they are aspiring to revive their empire. But the whole of the Middle East was under the Turkish Ottoman Empire, and that includes Israel. The Israeli military has a presence in southern Syria, while the Turks control the Syrian government and already have thousands of soldiers in Syria. The Turks and Israelis have antithetical interests of expansionism, which means there will inevitably be a clash between the two regional powers. It is not for no reason that the Israeli government’s Nagel Committee announced that Israel must prepare for a possible war with Turkey.

But, on the other side of this rising tension are the Israeli hardliners who, believing in this idea that they are invincible due to American support, want to purge out the Palestinians. Which means, there will be blood. And because there will be blood, Turkey can then bolster itself as the protector of the Palestinians against the murderous zionists, gathering the other Muslim countries to be led by Turkey. Such will be a part of the root of the origin story of the new Turkish empire. With a new Turkish empire, and the Islamic world behind it, a jihad will be declared on Israel, and the clash between the Jews and the Turks will be presented as a war between good and evil, between the murderers of Palestinians and the protector of Palestinians. It will be tragic and horrific. No matter what happens: human life will not be respected, because while human life is the most necessary thing, it is the least cared about. There will be blood.
