In a speech held last night at a Vigil for Syria held at Farm Street Jesuit Church, Lord Alton of Liverpool, a British politician, gave warning to the world of a Final Solution on Christians. Of course, this coming Final Solution will be done by Muslims. Lord Alton stated:

We in the West, who enjoy so many freedoms and liberties, need to ask o

urselves some tough questions about the disproportionate nature of the causes which we so readily embrace whilst ignoring the systematic violent ideology of an Islamist “Final Solution” directed at the Christian minorities.

Lord Alton also brought up the murder of Shahbaz Bhatti, a Catholic politician in Pakistan who was striving for the rights of the Pakistani Christians:

Never forget that many of these families came to Europe to escape the intolerance of countries like Pakistan – where a young Muslim girl can be shot for wanting an education or its Catholic Minister for Minorities, Shahbaz Bhatti, can be assassinated for preaching co-existence.q

That the Islamic planning for a Final Solution for Christians is greatly evidenced by the case of Shafqat and Shagufta, a Christian couple who has been sentenced to death in Pakistan. Their situation is the greatest case of judicial Christian persecution in recent time, and Rescue Christians is the only organization right now on the frontline fighting for their liberation. If the Muslims succeed in killing Shafqat and Shagufta, then it will further enable the Pakistani government to continue killing Christians, and ultimately, execute a systematic holocaust.

The words of Lord Acton are a reflection of the truth that we have been crying out for years: there will be a holocaust of Christians coming in the near future, and it will be the worst humanity’s has ever witnessed. For our Lord tells us:

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. (Matthew 24:21)

We must be ready for this time, and not only this, but we must be on the right side of history. We must not be like those who, after a great inhumanity, says that he did not know, or did know and did nothing. We must do something to rescue Christians before the great tribulation arrives.
