Muslims Take Over Israeli Town, Go Door To Door Raiding Homes And Executing People. The Terrorists Take Fifty Israelis As Hostages. The Israeli Military Enters The Town, Kills The Terrorists And Saves The Hostages

Islamic terrorists — members of Hamas — took over the Israeli town of Be’eri, going door to door and killing civilians, eventually taking fifty hostages. As we read in the Times of Israel:

Early on Saturday, dozens of terrorists entered the kibbutz, which was established in 1946 as part of a strategic plan to help the future state withstand an invasion from Egypt.

Hamas troops then appeared to gradually gain control of the entire kibbutz, whose 1,200 residents make it the largest of the 25 villages that make up the Eshkol Regional Council. An as-yet-undisclosed number of kibbutz members were killed; several are believed to have been abducted and taken to the Gaza Strip.

“They walked around Be’eri like they owned the place,” Haim Jelin, a survivor from the kibbutz and a former lawmaker and ex-head of the Eshkol Regional Council, told Army Radio Sunday.

“They shot indiscriminately, abducted whoever they could, burned down people’s homes so they’d have to escape through the window, where the terrorists would wait,” added Jelin, who called what happened in Be’eri a “massacre.” He said he had no precise tally of fatalities, survivors, abductees or missing persons from Be’eri.

It was part of an unprecedented raid by hundreds of armed Hamas troops who appeared to traverse the restive border area with ease, penetrating at least three cities – Ofakim, Sderot and Netivot – and multiple villages.

Eventually the Israeli military entered the village, killed the terrorists and saved the hostages, as we read in Jewish Press:

Israeli security forces and residents of the Gaza Envelope were witness to an open miracle in the wee hours of Sunday, less than 24 hours after Gaza’s ruling Hamas terrorist organization launched a war against the Jewish State.

Fifty hostages being held in the kibbutz dining room were rescued by Israeli forces, and the terrorists who had kidnapped them all and were holding them captive were neutralized, Hebrew-language media reported overnight.

All the hostages were reportedly safe.

Captives being held by terrorists in the western Negev city of Ofakim were also rescued overnight by Israeli forces and reported to be safe, with their captors eliminated.

Throughout the day on Saturday, heartbreaking footage of Jewish men, women and children in the region being grabbed and hustled down the streets by Hamas terrorists and forced into vehicles had raced around the internet.
