Donald Trump Announces To The King Of Jordan: ‘The US Doesn’t Need To Buy Gaza. We Will Just Own It.’

Donald Trump told The King of Jordan that the US does not need to purchase Gaza, but will just own it, as we read in Haaretz:

U.S. President Donald Trump praised his own proposal for the U.S. to take control of Gaza and resettle its population elsewhere in a meeting with Jordan’s King Abdullah in the Oval Office on Tuesday. He also doubled down on his demand that Hamas release all remaining Israeli hostages by Saturday or ‘all bets are off.’

The president said that “with the U.S. being in control of that fairly large piece of land, you’ll have stability in the Middle East for the very first time and the Palestinians and people in Gaza will be living beautifully in another location. Safely, not killed and murdered and having to leave every 10 years.”

“Everyone’s being killed and robbed, it’s like living in hell,” he continued. “They’ll end up having a great home and families that won’t get mugged and killed and beat up by Hamas and everyone else,” he continued, insisting that the U.S. won’t have to “buy” the territory but will “have it and keep it.”

“We’re not gonna have to buy Gaza. There’s nothing to buy. We will have Gaza … It’s a war-torn area that we’re going to take and hold and cherish and get it going eventually. Lots of jobs to be created for people in the Middle East. It can be a diamond, a tremendous asset,” he said, adding he can pursue this “under the U.S. authority.”
