It is quite obvious that America’s pro-Israel policy is dying, and this is seen evident in the recent electoral victory ofAbdul El-Sayed in Michigan in which he defeated an AIPAC backed candidate. The pro-Israel politicians in Congress know that the pro-Israel policy is dying, and so in their desperation they now want to make the US legally obligated to merge together American and Israeli military technologies. As we read in the New York Times:
For decades, the United States has supported Israel’s security by providing billions of dollars a year in military assistance and by working with its close partner on intelligence, missile defense and weapons development.
Now, with U.S. political support for sending military funding to Israel dropping off sharply, Congress is considering phasing out the financial commitment and instead undertaking a far more integrated defense and technology partnership built around legally mandated defense industrial cooperation between the two nations.

The House measure would create an office in the Defense Department that would be legally required to facilitate cooperation between the United States and Israel. It would oversee the development of new weapons and technology, as well as the testing and rollout of new capabilities.

The memorandum, which mandates that the United States provide $3.8 billion a year in military aid to Israel, ends in 2028, and lawmakers in both parties have said they would oppose a new deal based on billions of dollars in direct aid to Israel.
The reason as to why they are doing this is because they know that to support giving billions to Israel every year is not popular and thus no longer politically advantageous. So now they want to merge together American and Israeli military technologies, that way we will be neck to neck with Israel and the US will still have obligations to Israel and the American politicians can shrug their shoulders and say that they don’t support giving funds to Israel (while supporting legally binding the US to allow Israeli subcomponents in American technology). With Israeli parts being obligated to be inside of US military systems, Israel will be further enabled to spy on us to gain secretive information. If an American system, under law, has to have Israeli subcomponents, then Israel would control the supply chain of those parts. It could then add spyware to the parts which will then be embedded within the American technology, thus enabling Israel to spy on the US and gain military secrets. Israel could leak those secrets out or threaten to leak them out in order to get the US to fulfill certain demands. The Pentagon is increasingly concerned about Israel ramping up its spying on the U.S., recently raising the counterintelligence threat level from America’s top ally in the Middle East to the highest level, according to two U.S. officials and one former U.S. official.
The Pentagon’s Defense Intelligence Agency in recent weeks issued the new counterintelligence threat assessment amid rising tensions between Israel and the U.S. over the way forward in the war with Iran, the officials said. They said the DIA posted an internal message, viewed by one of the current officials, that raised the level for Israel to “critical.”
The designation stems from concerns within the Pentagon that Israel is making a particular effort to surveil top U.S. officials to get information on the Trump administration’s internal deliberations and decision-making on the conflicts in the Middle East, the officials said.
Israel wants to rule the world through the United States. It sees the writing on the wall, and knows its days are numbered. So Israel is desperate. They see how politicians who are openly anti-Israel, like Mamdani and Abul el-Sayed, have won elections despite millions of dollars from AIPAC funding their opponents. So now the pro-Israel lobby is pushing for this merging. Hopefully the outrage will be so great as to dissuade this from passing.
