House Oversight Committee member, Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) is a former prosecutor who knows how to question witnesses. In this exchange, Gowdy is questioning whistleblower Gregory Hicks, whose testimony involved a firsthand account of what happened in Libya on 9/11/12.
Part of Hicks’ statement was that he was never interviewed prior to UN Ambassador Susan Rice’s appearance on five Sunday talk shows on September 16th, during which she pointed to a video being responsible for the protests in Benghazi.
This line of questioning from Gowdy involves the administration’s reported knowledge of who attacked the consulate in Benghazi and why Rice said something that contradicted that knowledge.
