Since being first inaugurated, Barack Obama’s administration has been both desperate and hard at work in its attempts to dismantle the U.S. Constitution. If there were two amendments they’d like to see either compromised or removed altogether, there is no doubt that the first and second would be the top two. This is reflected in perhaps the top three scandals that have befallen the administration. Two of them have resulted in the deaths of Americans and countless other foreign nationals.

The insatiable desire of this administration to rid the country of the first two amendments has caused its purveyors to be quite careless. It’s what happens when an ends-justifies-the-means mentality grips an agenda.

Operation Fast and Furious:
Billed as an operation to help stop gun trafficking to Mexico, the truth about Operation Fast and Furious was revealed shortly after the death of U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry in the early morning hours of December 15, 2010. A courageous ATF Agent named John Dodson came forward and told CBS’s Sharyl Attkisson that the agency he worked for was responsible because two of the guns found at the scene of Terry’s murder were Fast and Furious guns.

It was subsequently learned that the ATF was instructing gun store owners in states that border Mexico to knowingly sell high powered weapons to ‘straw purchasers’ to whom the store owners didn’t want to sell. ATF agents led these store owners to believe they were part of a sting operation. In a sense they were; it was a sting operation to catch the store owners. Once the weapons were sold to bad guys, the ATF stood down and let those guns go into Mexico, where they would be given to drug cartels. Drug cartels with guns do one thing with those guns; they kill people with them. In many cases, innocent people.

That’s exactly what happened. By the time the operation was exposed after Terry’s death, thousands of guns had been allowed to walk into Mexico. Hundreds of Mexican nationals have lost their lives. Many of the guns are still in Mexico and will be used to kill many more.

The plan did not include getting caught. When Terry was murdered, the plan was exposed. At some point, the Obama administration was going to blame all of the deaths of Mexican nationals on the gun store owners and exploit the diabolically manufactured crisis to push for gun control. It was to be a direct, covert assault on the second amendment. In the early months of the first Obama administration, both Clinton and Obama pushed a since proven lie that 90 percent of the guns used by Mexican criminals come for the U.S.

Benghazi:
The aspects of the Benghazi assault that were manufactured by the Obama administration are still unknown. However, when viewing the attack on the Special Mission Compound (SMC) less than two years after the murder of Terry, the similarities are striking. For starters, there has been increasing evidence – relayed by Shoebat.com – that the Benghazi CIA annex, like unsuspecting gun store owners in Fast and Furious, was being used to procure and then ship weapons to Syria through Turkey. According to Seymour Hersh in The Red Line and the Rat Line, this operation began in early 2012 and run by CIA Director David Petraeus, at about the same time that Attorney General Eric Holder was fighting off Fast and Furious investigations; he would be found in Contempt of Congress later that year.

Benghazi was also about subverting the first amendment, as Shoebat.com revealed. In the Muslim world, agents were at work before the attack. At least two men – Wisam Abdul Waris and Nader Bakkar – conspired to blame the video for violence across the Middle East for one purpose. That purpose was to pressure non-Muslim countries to enact and enforce laws that would make criminal any and all criticism of Islam.

The Obama administration clearly wanted to push this narrative as well. In fact, the President himself desperately wanted it to stick, perhaps more than anyone else, as evidenced by his U.N. speech two weeks after the attacks. This occurred at a time when everyone knew the video was not responsible for the attacks. During that speech, Obama echoed the sentiment of Wisam, Bakkar, and an entire slew of Muslim fundamentalists who wanted to see the first amendment take a hit:

IRS:
On May 8, 2013, Gregory Hicks – the deputy to Ambassador Christopher Stevens at the time of the Benghazi attack, testified in front of Congress. The scandal was garnering the attention of even the mainstream media. On May 9th, then IRS tax-exempt Director Lois Lerner picked up the phone and planted a question with an underling to be asked on May 10th. That question had to do with the targeting of conservative and Tea Party groups. Lerner was asked the question, conceded the targeting had been done and the public spotlight immediately shifted away from Benghazi and onto the IRS scandal.

The IRS scandal, which continues to play out, involved denying conservative groups their tax exempt status based on political ideology. As such, that too – like Benghazi – was about an assault on the first amendment and freedom of speech.

By contrast, as we have covered extensively at Shoebat.com, Barack Obama’s brother Malik Obama – who is Executive Secretary of the Islamic Da’wa Organization (IDO), which is an arm of a terrorist state whose leader is wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for crimes against humanity, was given preferential, expeditious and illegal tax exempt status by Lerner.

If these scandals all share one thing in common, it’s that they all display the intentions of the Obama administration to dismantle the U.S. Constitution and the first two amendments constitute the golden ring.

That’s why the administration has been so careless in going after them.
