On the same day that a booby-trapped United Nations (UNRWA) hospital that concealed a terror tunnel system exploded, killing three IDF officers, UNRWA’s Gaza representative broke down crying while recording a YouTube video. However, UNRWA’s Christopher Gunness didn’t cry because he represents an entity complicit in war crimes or because the blood of Israeli soldiers is on his hands.

No, Gunness broke down because a UN school housing rockets was bombed by the IDF, which has demonstrated time and again that these schools are used to commit war crimes. In fact, Gunness’s UNRWA booby-trapped clinic only further bolsters Israel’s claims. The feature photo with this post is from 2009 and it shows a UNRWA school being bombed by the IDF after it was discovered to be hiding weapons.

If only Gunness were crying for the IDF soldiers who died as a result of the UNRWA being complicit in the commission of war crimes in that hospital.

Yet, while he cries for Palestinians who were in a school they shouldn’t have been in, Gunness’s UNRWA fails to comment on a matter that should be at the top of its list – its own booby-trapped hospital that killed three IDF soldiers and concealed terror tunnels. According to INN:

While it would not comment on the deaths of the three soldiers, UNRWA was quick to place blame on Israel for a rocket strike on one of their schools in Gaza.

The UN agency also immediately blamed Israel for a strike on Gaza’s Shifa hospital, resulting in the deaths of over a dozen Gazans. It was later revealed that in all likelihood, a misfired Hamas Fajr-5 Iranian-made 100 kg warhead destined for Israel had struck the hospital.

Come to think of it, if Gunness has reason to cry, that reason involves the actions of his own UNRWA.
