An expression of solidarity with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt is the holding up of all four fingers without the thumb. It signifies opposition to the crackdown on the Brotherhood at Rabaa Al-Adaweya in Cairo last August. That’s what makes the video below a bit confusing.
The video, shot in Cairo on August 14th, features terrorists who are apparently frustrated with the Brotherhood’s lack of success in confronting the Egyptian government. Calling themselves the ‘Helwan Brigades’, a masked man can be seen speaking for the group and says specifically that Egypt’s Interior Ministry is the group’s target:
“You are to be targeted for what you have done to us. You have shown no consideration for the fact that we are your brothers. You have shown no consideration for anything. You have shed the bloods and stepped on them. You have raped the women. You have impregnated the Muslim women”.
The video ended with the men chanting: “No peace with the interior ministry” followed by “God is great”.
As Shoebat.com reported recently, in the current trial of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, a case is being made that the Obama administration collaborated with the Muslim Brotherhood to overthrow Mubarak. Some of the most damaging testimony to the Brotherhood has come from two high ranking officials from Mubarak’s Interior Ministry.
