Anytime there is a crises in the United States, there is always an opposition against the official narrative regarding the crises. In this case the official narrative is that COVID-19 has wiped out over 80,000 Americans. And of course (because, well, this is America), is that the pandemic is “overblown” and basically not a big deal. According to a report from NBC (the Main Stream Media, gasp!):
The U.S. death toll crossed 80,000 on Sunday, and Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced Britain would begin easing its lockdown measures.
In Washington, Dr. Anthony Fauci on Saturday became the third member of the White House coronavirus task force to self-quarantine after possible exposure to the coronavirus.
Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, who has emerged as the most high-profile public health expert on President Donald Trump’s task force, will follow a “modified” quarantine for the next two weeks after “low-risk” exposure to a White House aide who tested positive, an administration official confirmed.
Dr. Robert Redfield, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, will also self-quarantine for 14 days, and Stephen Hahn, the administrator of the Food and Drug Administration, has already gone into quarantine. Two other people with access to the White House have also tested positive for the coronavirus, including Vice President Mike Pence’s press secretary, Katie Miller.
As of Sunday afternoon, the U.S. death toll was 80,032, with more 1.3 million cases reported, according to an NBC News tally.
Now, for years we have been hearing from conservatives about how the Left wants euthanasia because they want to kill the elderly (and yes, euthanasia is something that many in the Left uphold). But, what is so ironic is how when a virus that kills especially the elderly floods the nation, that the conservatives say that, ‘Well, it kills mainly the old folks so obviously this pandemic is overblown.’ While the Left will openly talk about euthanasia, the conservatives will cover themselves with the title of ‘pro-life’ while pushing for people to live as though life is normal during the contagion of a virus that has wiped out tens of thousands of people in their own country. The conservatives will point to migrants as “invaders,” but when the country gets invaded by a microscopic enemy, they will tell you not to care and to simply allow the virus to invade everyone in order to get “herd immunity,” allowing with complete callousness for the elderly, the sick and the weak to die by the wayside in the name of “our way of life.” Truly, the conservative movement is not what it claims to be; it is not “pro-life,” “Christian” or sympathetic for the weak, but is, quite frankly, a death cult dedicated to the religion of “our way of life.” “Let us not spare the widow or regard the gray hairs of the aged” (Wisdom 2:10) is their creed.
