the video has been done in light of the revelation that the lone juror in the Lindsay Clancy case is a Haitian immigrant. For years, there have been many racists online talking about how blacks are the enemies of whites. But, in the Lindsay case, we have 11 white jurors who voted to give Lindsay a “not guilty by reason of insanity” verdict, and the only person who sought justice for the murdered white children is a Haitian immigrant. I parallel this story to Jesus’s parable of the Good Samaritan and His praise of the Roman Centurion. The Samaritans were a hated people in Judea, and yet Christ did not focus on this tribalism, but rather poses the question, “Who is your neighbor,” and uses the story of the Good Samaritan to show that our neighbor is the one who has compassion, and is not predicated on racial or tribal affinity. Christ also points to a Roman Centurion as having more faith than anyone in Israel. So the question then is, Who is your neighbor? It is the one who has compassion and justice and not necessarily someone who is a member of your race:
