Police are looking for a black woman who attacked a Hispanic woman on the subway while screaming “Go back to your country” according to a report:
A woman riding a subway in the Bronx early Tuesday spewed anti-Hispanic rhetoric at another woman after snatching her construction helmet and beating her with it, police said.
“Go back to your country,” the attacker yelled after taking the Hispanic woman’s helmet from her head and hitting her with it. “You’re here taking jobs from Americans.”
The dispute broke out around 4 a.m. on the southbound 2 train at the Pelham Parkway subway station on White Plains Road and Pelham Parkway.
The attacker took the victim’s helmet off and struck her in the head multiple times, police sources said. The victim suffered minor injuries and was removed by EMS to Montefiore Medical Center in stable condition.
The person wanted for questioning is described as a black female with a camouflage scarf, burgundy hair and all black clothing. (source, source)
