Egyptian Philosopher: ‘Muslim Brotherhood (is) required to start wars’

His name is Murad Wahba and this entire video is worth watching. Basically, what he is saying here is that in Egypt, a major reason for the tension between the military and the Brotherhood is that the military is focused on fighting in the interest of national security / defense while the Brotherhood is interested in offensive Jihad.

He also makes mention of the presidential election and issues a stark warning if the Muslim Brotherhood wins the office. The official Muslim Brotherhood candidate is Mohamed Mursi, who is not likely to win. However, the unofficial Muslim Brotherhood candidate – Abdel moneim Abol Futuh – is one half of what many have conceded is a two man race between him and Amr Moussa, an anti-Israel Mubarak holdover.

Futuh was allegedly expelled from the Brotherhood for running for president. Yet, despite this, he still garnered the endorsement of top Muslim Brotherhood cleric, Yusuf Al-Qaradawi. Still no word on why Mursi wasn’t expelled from the Brotherhood for running for president or why he’s not publicly challenging Qaradawi for supporting a candidate his group expelled.
