Video: Keith Ellison says Boston bombers ‘probably’ motivated by politics, not Islam

During an appearance on MSNBC, Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN), the first Muslim elected to the U.S. Congress attempted to pin the motivations of the Boston marathon bombers on politics, not religion. In so doing, Ellison quite knowingly (because he is a devout Muslim) put forth a faulty premise that Islam is separate from politics.

They are inseparable and Ellison knows this. It’s Islam 101. Abul Ala Maududi, the founder of Jamaat-e-Islami, an Islamic fundamentalist political party, wrote about this very thing in an article entitled, Essential Features of the Islamic Political System.

The Muslim Brotherhood, a group Mr. Ellison is all too familiar with through his dealings with CAIR and connections to Hamas is very Muslim and is implementing its political system – Sharia – all over the Middle East right now, to include Egypt.

For good measure, Ellison whipped out the Timothy McVeigh card, saying that the Oklahoma City bomber was motivated by Waco, not his religion. However, Ellison ignored the fact that McVeigh wasn’t a Christian. The Muslim congressman then proceeded to tell the audience that the Times Square bomber was not motivated by Islam.

Keep talking, congressman. Please, just keep talking. You’re making The Case FOR Islamophobia.
