While America Weeps On September 11th, Malta Celebrates

By Theodore Shoebat

On September 11th, Americans remember a scene of gore, the Twin Towers being hit by planes and then crumbling down with countless human beings being crushed and ripped to pieces alongside the debris, and people jumping off buildings.

On the same month of September — September 8th to be exact — the people of the small island of Malta celebrate how their country, in 1565, fought under the knight Jean Parisot de Valette and the religious Order of the Knights of St. John, and defeated the Muslims and their leader Sulaiman who were trying to conquer the Christians and reduce them under Sharia.

While the Maltese people today commemorate their victory over the Muslims on September 8th, the actual victory of the battle was on September 11th, the same day of the greatest attack on U.S. soil in American history. Both of these events involved Islamic attacks, but the ones who had a sense of Christian supremacy, the Christians in Malta, gained a victory, while the ones who lived in a multiculturalist society, suffered a massacre.

Jean Parisot de Valette, Grand Master of the Knights of St. John, who led the victory over the heretics.

Suleiman the Magnificent, enemy to the Faith who suffered defeat under the Christians.

The Muslims never forgot their defeat in Malta, and it is possible that this was for this reason as to why September 11th was the day they chose to execute the attack on America.

The Knights of St. John, a priestly knighthood dedicated to hospitalizing and fighting the enemies of Christ, and the most significant defenders of Malta, were attacking ships full of pilgrims traveling to Mecca to observe the Hajj and venerate the Blackstone idol of Allah, and they did this primarily for their fiery zealotry against the heresy of Islam.

Just to illustrate their zeal, one of their warriors was a friar named Roberto, and he fought with a sword in one hand, and a Crucifix in the other, while he proclaimed to the other fighters that they must combat for the advancement of Christ.

They hated the religion of Islam and saw it as diabolical and antichrist, and when they fought them with great valiancy, they esteemed themselves as fighting for God and for Christianity, not some secular, dry and empty interest.

They were united under one creed — Christianity — and did not see their Faith as a mere religious preference, but as the only true Faith which triumphs over all the other religions, which are false.

In other words, they had no tolerance, and rejected the idea of religious equality. The Maltese people, by and large, still hold their Faith as the only truth, and thus why they don’t have a Muslim problem like we, and the rest of the nations which exalt religious tolerance, do. And Malta is right next to the Middle East, and it still has not suffered any terrorism, like Spain, England, and America have. But this is not to say that there will never be an Islamic problem in Malta.

The point is that Malta has never forgotten the Siege of Malta, and how their Christian supremacist ancestors defeated the Muslims.

While the Maltese people celebrate, we weep and reminisce, on September.

It was St. Paul who brought Christianity to Malta, and who shook off the serpents, which bit him and clung onto his limb into the flames on that very island, and it was the Knights of St. John fought to preserve the very Faith which the Apostle introduced.

America, on the other hand, has done an excellent in watering down the Faith of its earliest settlers, and making its church open and inclusive to the very underminers of Christianity.

Yet, regardless of all of this remembering of Ground Zero and the Pentagon attack, we are in a worse predicament. The support for terrorism by this country in Syria and other parts of the Middle East has dangerously increased, and the praise of Islam by politicians (especially Obama) has swelled more so than any other time in US history.

From all of this, one thing is obvious: we have not learned from 9/11. We have only decayed more, and have plunged ourselves deeper into the heresy of indifferentism.

It leads us to ask, what then is the root of the Islamic problem? Tolerance. As I have said before, in every one of these situation, you have the problem (Islam), the symptom to the problem (terrorism), and the enabler of the problem (tolerance).

As long as we have tolerance, we will have terrorism. The root to this tolerance is of course our acceptance of false religions, and the nation’s emphasis on giving full liberty to every wicked and evil idea which man conceive in his mind. Islam is definitely one of these.

Are there any crosses on the Ground Zero memorial? No. Because we are so obsessed with not offending, with counting every faith and ideology equally, and we are so indifferent to the incessant attack on Christianity.

There was a beautiful steel Crucifix found amongst the debris of the destruction, but it has now ended up in a museum, and not on the memorial, thanks to the reprobate and tyrannical atheists in America, who have nothing better to do than restrict religious liberty, and cry every time the Cross is uplifted.

But this goes beyond the atheists; this censoring of the Cross is ultimately attributed to the weak and decaying church in America, which cares more for gaining numbers and public image than fighting evil.

We keep saying that its all about “faith,” yet we mention it so generally, without even specifying what the object of Christian faith is. The purpose of Christian faith is to destroy the works of the devil, since that was the reason for Christ’s coming, as we are told by St. John:

For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8)

Faith is also here for us, so that we may combat the followers of Satan, enemies and demonic governments which wish to destroy Christianity:

By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment.

….

And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:

Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions.

Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. (Hebrews 11: 23, 32-34)

These faithful faithful men and women went against the evil tyrants, like the Pharaoh or the Midianites, and did so by faith. This is what faith is about, not some empty term, which the compromising American church loves to throw around as though it is air.

Through faith, we fight evil; through faith, we extinguish the darkness with the Light; through faith, we shield against the arrows of false religion, and repulse the slaves of error.

The Christians who defeated the Muslims did not believe that error has a right, and till this day the Maltese celebrate their victory; we on the other hand believe that every form of spiritual confusion has equal liberties, and we are still suffering from the problems of Islam.

Religious intolerance, unto itself, is a heresy and the greatest sign to spiritual decay.

It is time for us to uphold our Faith as supreme, affirm the dangers of false religions, and specify as to why error, and nefarious ideologies, have no rights and cannot be seen as having equal footing to Christianity. Let us do this, so we can finally celebrate, and stop weeping.
