The president of Poland, Andrzej Duda, boasted about how Polish tanks are in Russia being used to kill Russian soldiers, as we read in TVVezda:
Polish President Andrzej Duda admitted that Polish tanks transferred to Ukraine are participating in the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attack on the Kursk region. His speech was broadcast by Polish television.
“The PT-91 Twardy tanks that we transferred from Poland more than a year ago are today on the battlefield… in the Kursk region,” the Polish leader said at a joint press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky.
He added that Poland would continue to provide military assistance to Ukraine, and reiterated Warsaw’s commitment to supporting Kyiv in its “aspirations to join the EU and NATO.”
Let us recall that Duda is in Kyiv, where he arrived on Saturday, August 24, on an unannounced visit to participate in events to mark Ukraine’s Independence Day. Lithuanian President Ingrida Šimonytė also arrived in Kyiv.
Earlier, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk called the terrorist attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Kursk border region a “defense” of Ukraine and stated that the country has the right to do so.
