Spineless ‘Conservative’ Congressman Mike Kelly

Elected Republican officials – including Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) – have in their possession evidence that former IRS official Lois Lerner aided and abetted an enemy combatant who also happens to be the half-brother of President Barack Obama. In a radio town hall last summer, Kelly said the claims were “spot on”.

Kelly to Tea Party: "We've got your back".

Kelly to Tea Party: “We’ve got your back”.

However, Kelly, who sits on the House Ways and Means Committee also said in his response that he did “not (want) to make President Obama’s job harder”. In the months that have transpired since, neither Kelly nor any other Republican congressman has drawn public attention to this very explosive scandal.

Lerner’s signature at the bottom of Malik Obama’s 501(c)(3) approval letter, which was issued in less than 30 days, not only implicates her in the commission of a felony because Malik’s tax-exempt status was backdated 38 months. Lerner is further implicated as an accessory to terror funding because of Malik Obama’s ties to Sudan’s Islamic Da’wa Organization (IDO).

Instead of negotiating for Lerner’s testimony in exchange for her immunity, Republican congressmen continue to either nibble around the edges of the IRS scandal and ignore these most serious charges, which are backed up by photographic evidence and Kelly’s own comments that the charges are “spot on”.

At a House Ways and Means Committee hearing last year, Kelly delivered passionate remarks to Tea Party leaders while expressing his support for them. He closed those remarks by assuring them that “we’ve got your back”.

It’s long past time for Rep. Kelly and other Congressman investigating the IRS scandal to show it and publicly address the real IRS scandal, which is a matter of national security.

The exchange with Rep. Kelly on 790 WPIC in Hermitage, PA lasted almost six minutes and this “edited” version has been trimmed down to less than two. It is in no way intended to take Kelly’s words out of context, only to highlight the most important parts of the exchange. If you’d like to hear the entire exchange, click here:
