Powerful Videos: Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa and member Jason Chaffetz talk Benghazi hearings

Two clips below. First, Rep. Darrell Issa, Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on Face the Nation with Bob Schieffer. There are a few takeaways here. First, Schieffer actually seemed to be processing the severity of the charge, which is increasingly becoming undeniable.

A State Department coverup. If you’ve read Stephen Hayes’ article at the Weekly Standard, that coverup appears to involve Hillary Clinton’s spokesman, Victoria Nuland.

The President of Libya, as well as firsthand accounts on the ground in Benghazi knew the attack was al-Qaeda inspired and had nothing to do with a video. U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice has never looked worse than she does right now.

Something new to come out in this interview are the claims made by Greg Hicks, Foreign Service Officer & Former Deputy Chief of Mission in Libya. Strong charges from Hicks, who will be testifying at the January 8th hearing:

Is it a good thing to be afflicted with Islamophobia? Get the new book from Walid Shoebat, The Case FOR ISLAMOPHOBIA: Jihad by the Word; America’s Final Warning.

Next up is Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), who sits on the House Oversight Committee, and Rep. Stephen Lynch (D-MA). Early on in this exchange on Fox News Sunday, Lynch attempts to spin but this scandal is getting so big that toward the end, even Lynch had to admit – based on Hayes’ Weekly Standard article – that it is rather obvious that Susan Rice’s talking points were ‘false’.
