During an appearance on Meet the Press, Senate Intelligence Committee chairman Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) was asked if Barack Obama is conveying weakness by admitting he has no strategy to deal with ISIS in Syria. Her answer began with an inherently tacit admission that she was going to engage in semantics and use the word “cautious” instead of “weak”.
A bit later in the exchange (seen below), Feinstein is surprisingly less measured when asserting that Obama was indeed wrong to refer to ISIS as a “jayvee” team earlier this year in an interview with New Yorker magazine. Feinstein countered by saying ISIS is a “Major Varsity Team”.
When viewed in conjunction with the fact that a group similar to ISIS has now officially taken over the U.S. embassy in Tripoli, Libya as the Obama administration conveys… caution?… weakness? in response, that these words are coming from Feinstein are even more disturbing.
Watch all the way to the end as Feinstein says “they (ISIS) crossed the border into Iraq before we even knew it happened”. If the thought of ISIS crossing the Mexican border into the U.S. doesn’t cross your mind, it should.
Does it seem like liberal media personalities are starting to have that ‘deer in the headlights’ look a little more often?
